With the holiday shopping at hand, you might want watch out for devious ones out there to boldly pick pocket you from your hard earned money.
Even though the art of pickpocket is on the decline in the U.S., you should still be cognizant of your surroundings and belongings.
According to the FBI the drop is due to the trends in our society, most people no longer carry large sums of cash. However, would be pickpocketers can target your phone or the gifts that you just bought.
Its highly unlikely that they will forcefully make you go to an ATM and withdraw the money as they do in other parts of the world.
So again, getting back to the point of being aware is your greatest defense against these possible pickpocketers. See the pickpocket prevention video here.
Carry my wallet in my front pocket. Be pretty hard to slip the billfold out and not be noticed.

That’s what I do.
I carry everything in my front pockets, and never use my back pockets. My wallet is a "front pocket wallet" and is shaped to fit a front pocket. I usually wear pleated pants so the stuff in my pockets have room (including my concealed handgun).
Since I do all my shopping online, I’m not that worried. BTW, I’ve kept my wallet in my front pocket going on 25 years now. It’s the cell phone in the back pocket that is at risk...

I do it in case the pickpocket is a drop-dead,superhot babe. Cheap thrills for me since my wallet’s usually empty anyway.
:D
My wife and I were at the airport in San Juan for a few hours. She had a Visa card in her wallet which she never uses and is only kept for emergencies. The card was never used at the airport, or even taken out of her purse, and she never lost possession of the card. When we got home a few weeks later, all these charges from around San Juan and Puerto Rico started to show up on her card. The only thing we can imagine is that some thief used an RFID scanner her purse at the airport.

My cheapo cellphone, if I even have it with me, is in the shirt pocket. So it would take a frontal assault and it wouldn’t be worth the effort of any self-respecting pickpocket.
I hear that. Let her keep looking. lol

A rat trap in the back pocket might be fun. Just remember to keep your own hands out and not to sit down!
and do not place in front pocket or SNAP! and you are singing soprano.
Diamonds Are Forever had the right idea.
In real life, there would be too many lawsuits by the pickpockets.
my wallet is in left front cargo pocket because my GLOCK is IWB 4 o’clock.
