What a disgusting cesspool of self-serving corruption is the nations capital and no better example of that can be found today than Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell who, according to longtime political activist, Ned Ryun, was a primary source of the anti-Roy Moore stories that are now attempting to sway the upcoming Alabama special election and help clear the path for a Trump impeachment attempt in 2018.
I strongly suspect its a very short list of people, all who are associated with Mitch McConnell whether its Josh Holmes, whether its Karl Rove, might even be Steven Law I dont know, but I strongly, strongly suspect somebody out of the McConnell camp planted the story. It was planted. This came with the blessing of Mitch McConnell at some point, that he was going to take a political shot at Roy Moore.
According to whispers, it wasnt just taking political shot at Moore that motivating the McConnell camp. They want Roy Moore out of the way and replaced with someone of McConnells choosing, or even Moores Democrat opponent, Doug Jones, a man whose career is linked to the Bill Clinton administration. Moore would be a vehement defender of POTUS Trump and his policies. If McConnell is to succeed in laying the groundwork for an impeachment trial and vote in the Senate, he will need fewer senators like Roy Moore to contend with.
McConnell is said to know actual impeachment proceedings remain a distant possibility, (the Paul Ryan-led House would first have to vote to impeach) but he is more determined than ever to be ready should that opportunity present itself. For those who might scoff at the notion of a Republican Congress actually pursuing articles of impeachment against Donald Trump, simply recall the failed votes to repeal and replace Obamacare, the ongoing troubles to pass tax cuts, and the number of Republican senators who continue to openly speak out against the President.
The motivation to go after Trump is there. What is left is a simple matter of numbers. Getting rid of a Roy Moore and replacing him with a an anti-Trump senator would give McConnell that much more leverage to make his dreams of eliminating Trump a reality.

Where’s the evidence for this conspiracy?
There clearly was a plan to revisit the Trump accusers. It’s backfired. Completely.
But this is a Russian controlled site as I recall. So, not really interested in it.
Im no fan of Mitch McConnell but Im not buying this conspiracy theory for a second.
That being said, it doesn’t take a genius to see how the furor could be used to build support for getting rid of Trump. Unintended consequence or diabolical plan? Its really hard to know these daze.
its the deep state/Gope mode of self survivial
Two major problems with this plan:
1) Bill Clinton
2) Congressional Slush fund to pay off victims of congressional sexual assault.
Yes. Totally agree. I wish people could see it.
They are all the enemy. All of them.
I am not a McConnell fan and maybe McConnell did this but the link only provides suspicion regarding 3 potential wrong doers - no evidence is given
Replace Moore with someone of McConnell's choosing? Well that would be ... Luther Strange. If the Republicans were involved the time to have played this card was during the primary and not just a few weeks before the general election when the ballot can't be changed.
Whispers? :-) Yeah right. This was a dem operation. Fake news deflection.
I don't feel sorry for McConnell and company. "Live by the sword..." as they say.

Regardless of the involvement of McConnell or Rove, the electorate has decided that the Republican Party needs new representation across the board.

There never was democracy, because we're not one.
I don't think it's "far fetched" I think the sewer rats would do anything they can to gut Trump.
That's what sorry POS they are.
We surely know it’s possible, as are Mueller indictments to provide the rationale. This Swamp Battle seems never-ending.
its gonna take two terms just to get rid of the deep state..
Let’s not go the same path as the liberals.
Let’s not make up stories and pass them around as facts.
Reason I don’t buy into this theory is because a Moore victory will actually make Trump stronger. Getting Moore out of the race and electing the Democrat (in a red state that gave Trump a 30 point victory a year ago) was probably a 50/50 proposition at best. When you are trying to take out the king, you need better odds than that!
So a completely unsourced conspiracy theory from a random troll is now a report.
This story may be up to the standards of Fusion GPS and the Washington Free Bacon.
Pencil-neck Schiff might run with it.
