In 2008, the day after McCain won the Republican nomination, the NYT ran a front page story about an alleged McCain affair.
I guess McCain should have stepped aside because of the allegations.
Its just so damn transparent. The GOPe, McConnell in particular, tells us that Bannons candidates can win primaries but cant win the general. Abra ca dabra, its disclosed that 39 years ago Moore hit on a 14 year old. Out of thin air, like a great magician the WaPo pulls a rabbit out of the hat.
The GOPe will gladly lose a senate seat and use it as the excuse to tank Trumps agenda, something they were doing anyway. Then, they will turn to us and say, see, we told you that you have to support our candidates. As if we wont know that they sabotaged Roy Moore?!?!
And on another note, FoxNews has found its new Meghan Kelly clone in the form of Shannon Bream. She was on tonight treating this story with not even one shred of skepticism. Chris Stirewalt, Megan Kellys old smirking RINO pet has been adopted from the GOPe shelter. He was on with his usual Republicans are doomed and Roy Moore is guilty schtick. Lord help me I want to punch that guy in his always wrong face.
The Uniparty is determined to not let us elect anyone who will side with the citizens and the rule of law against illegal aliens and their employers.
They have a bipartisan plan to change the demographics of the country against the will of the citizens.
They have been manipulating elections for decades preventing us from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
We are usually only allowed to vote for candidates who support open borders/amnesty.
They have marginalized or ruined everyone who has stood in their way.
Trump as an anomaly that they do not intend to allow again.
They have been purposely flooding the country with foreigners (and they are voting) to steal our country from us.
Unfortunately, I dont think the Swamp is anywhere near its last gasp yet...
I think it’s a RAT smear...not a GOPe smear....but let’s see how it works out
If the allegations about Menendez and the Lolita Express are true, shouldn’t he resign, Mitch?
I hope Judge Moore has a good team who will help him to make this story disappear. If the best the Swamp has is he-says-she-says from 38 years ago, that should not be enough to put another socialist in the US Senate over a real American.
I predict a coordinated campaign of paid bimbos and smears. We will get a whole parade of liars before the election is here. It's how the ruling elite got Cain removed.
The GOP establishment would rather lose the seat to a Democrat than see it won by an anti-establishment candidate, even if of their own party.
The Post is owned by Nash Holdings LLC, a holding company for billionaire Amazon founder and open borders champion Jeffrey Bezos.
The newspaper formally endorsed Moores Democratic opponent Doug Jones in the Senate race.
In a series of articles, Breitbart News has documented Joness close associations with far-left groups financed by George Soros that push open borders and a host of radical causes.
Ben Garrison is the BEST POLITICAL CARTOONIST EVER!
...”Will this backfire and make Moores supporters even more firm in supporting him? To a great degree because of President Trumps campaign, people are much less fooled by garbage such as this.”...
I think that we are just about saturated with the Washington Post’s efforts to destroy conservatism and it’s supporters. While serial sexual predators are mostly on the side of the Godless left, the MSM and the corresponding swamp dwellers were bound to try and find a big name on the right to accuse, so they offered up Roy Moore, an avowed Christian (two birds with one stone is always good in the eyes of the left), and an accuser from the culture of the 50s/60s, when young girls could agree to sexual activity with guys of their choosing. Remember Woodstock and free love orgies? That generation turned over all the rules and the history of it resides mostly in the minds of those who lived through it. Now, it could be that a play on what happened back there is simply the difference in cultures from then to now. Pedophilia is to be abhorred, but the age of consent has changed and the rules have changed. So have laws. Back then abortion (made legal in 1973) and homosexuality were to be punished wherever found and it’s adherents were to be shunned. The Roy Moore accusation may be the waterloo of a knee jerk reaction to what the Washington Post puts out. Beware McConnell and others who would quickly jump on that band wagon. Roy Moore should fight this in court, if no crime of force took place. The culture of the time when this happened has to be considered. Also, Moore’s age at the time. Some research of public records in the South at the time would turn up marriages for girls 16 and younger. You cannot take today’s law and go back to apply it to a different time in history. If that could be done, the left would be in deep, deep trouble.
What's going on in the US is no different than when ISIS destroyed cultural treasures thousands of years old in the Mideast. Cultural appropriation erases past history and society...events and people should be evaluated in context.
I remember the 1960s and 1970s. I don't know anyone who would meet today's weird standards. It's one reason why I suspect this assault on Roy Moore's integrity might backfire. In the real world, NO ONE could live up to the standards of those who (think about it) embrace sexual perversion while writing new rules for the past for everyone else.
And then there's the hypocrisy. One of the Kennedy's got off the hook for raping a woman in a Kennedy FL mansion (remember that?). And Bill Clinton is a serial abuser; nobody even denies it anymore.
I knew that swampthing Republicans were bad, real bad. But I never thought that they'd bring the nation down with them.
As a Jewess on the US, I can only point out that the number of women who allegedly DATED, but had no sex with, Roy Moore is EXACTLY the same number who accused President Clinton of FORCIBLE RAPE, a FAR more serious offense. Now we know why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST. Just sayin’!
