Yesterday I offered this suggestion:

The Sell: convince people that the DNC was hoodwinked by Clinton, that she did them wrong, and they they were terrified innocent lambs rather than willing participants.

The DNC is a haunt of highly skilled liars and propagandist ... I’m of a mind that they are trying to give up something that no longer can harm them no more than it already has to preserve what they have left to lose.

NOT sure about Fonna, but Donna is back-pedaling faster than anyone I've ever seen.

I watched her on Sunday with George Stephanopopolis (whatever) and then again yesterday with the vicious hags of the View, and she didn't hold her ground on either show.

Donna weaseled out of all her strong statements in her book every time her statements were quoted back to her.

To hear her tell it, she loves Hillary. She loves Bernie Sanders, too, and BTW, Hillary was only helping the DNC get its finances back into the black.

She also loves Obama!

The only statement she proudly accepted was the one about "putting their manhoods on the table ..." (because hers was the largest!)

I think the explanation is pretty simple. There are two fractions in the dimoKKKRAT party. One is pro Hillary and the other is sick and tired of the Clintons running the dimoKKKRAT party. Donna belongs to the faction that is sick and tired of the Clintons and their shenanigans and are trying to take Hillary down.

I think Seth Rich was part of that branch and they killed him for leaking the emails. You will notice that she mentioned Seth Rich in the dedication of her book. IMHO this is not a mystery.
