A 27-year-old black man has been charged with a hate crime after assaulting a white, disabled, homeless passenger as revenge for slavery.
WJLA reports Marquis Evans-Royster and the victim were riding the Washington D.C. Metrobus system at the time of the incident. Evans-Royster approached the 52-year-old victim, looked him directly in the eye, and said, “You owe me for making my grandmother a slave.”
Evans-Royster also reportedly spit on the victim’s face and searched through his pockets. While on the bus, he also allegedly yelled, “All white people are evil” and that the white passengers on the bus “should die.”
In addition to spitting on his face, Evans-Royster also threatened to throw urine on the victim. Throwing urine has apparently become a recent trend on the Metrobus.
Evans-Royster was arrested by Metro Transit Police and has been charged with a hate crime and various other offenses. He faces up to 30 years in jail.

His mother should be in her thirties, fourties or fifties.
His grandmother might be in her eighties or nineties, nineties being still fairly rare.
Slavery ended in 1865. That was over 150 years ago.

People can’t choose their racial background. But they can choose whether or not to vote for the party that championed slavery back in the day, and now cynically uses it as an issue to divide Americans along racial lines.

I am 57. My grandparents were born in the 1890’s. Not only is this guy nuts...he’s not very good at math.
His grandmother was a slave to her muslim owner, he just got it mixed u with old timey slavery, which given the drug load he took, is perfectly understandable. ICE will be exiling him to his mother country - Liberia or Ghana, depending on how the DNA test turns out.
This is his legacy: Blacks even more removed from a mainstream society that now includes Asians and Hispanics leaving them in the dust. They knew as his presidency wound down that they’d been had, and BLM arose from the ashes of his goofy policies of removing all responsibility from them.
He was on his way to practice with the Washington Redskins when he flipped out.

Even his great grandmother probably wasn’t a slave. Assuming the women in his family lived an average of 80 years, that is only 160 years. A great grandmother may have been been born into slavery but never lifted a finger and that would be very rare.
Really, to be realistic, it would have been his great, great grandmother who would have been a slave and she would have probably seen the end of slavery while she was still fairly young.
