Ten minutes from now, if you still want to send your kid to an institution of higher learning in the United States, it could be tantamount to child abuse. Even a few short months may be too late.

When my daughter was getting ready to go to college I handed her this book and I told her that if she found a college in here she liked and we could afford it we would do it. She decided on Hillsdale College. After her first semester I recognized her as the same daughter I had sent to college. Best decision I ever helped her to make.

My kids all chose job-centered majors, engineer and comparable. They all did well or are doing well on finding jobs that more than returned the cost of tuition.

I also made sure they were not just raised conservative but grew up understanding why individual merit was a more moral perspective than identity politics and why capitalism is more fair and compassionate than socialism. If you want to persuade any of my kids to follow Hillary/Obama’s minions, you’ll have to overcome a thorough education on the foundations of modern leftism. So far, they haven’t even been tainted by the evil in our world.

College choices are mostly wasted on the young. A few years paying tuition in the University of Hard Knocks usually focuses the mind on what is REALLY important, and they may make their colleges choices from there.

I’ll be honest; the more I read about colleges nowadays, the more thankful I am for being mildly autistic and just coasting through college on video games and D&D without letting any of the ideology sink in.

I have a degree; it got me into seminary; I’m not a brainwashed left-wing puppet. Thank the Lord.

Taught college 16 years and would advise kids to go to college ONLY to take a REAL degree not ever any degree with the word “studies” in the title.

My neighbour (in Indonesia), whose daughter wants to go to Uni in America, asks me “why should I send her half way around the world to be educated by people who don’t know the difference between a girl and a boy?”

Yeah, I watched that video yesterday. It’s embarrassing that that woman calls herself a college student. She obviously cannot think or express herself clearly (or w/o profanity). Trouble is, she is not an usual college student these daze.
