Good list. I like the LWRC IC DI.
There are plenty of quality AR-15s for far less money. Colt makes one that is $700 for an upper without forward assist and $750 with. You can pick up a Ruger for less than $600. Daniel Defense makes them much less than 10 bills, too. If none of those suit you, you can build a custom platform off a mils-spec lower for less than $1000.
I like my Rock Rivers. A Colt can be bought for about $799. DD is nice but wow! the price it over the top.
I’ll take a Ruger AR556. Around $700-$750 with dust cover, forward assist, all that jazz. Saw a used one for $629, but mine was bought new and I got around 8k rounds through it with nothing too spectacular to report as far as malfunctions go
The Colt LE6920 is the best bang for the buck, in my opinion. Aside from full auto capability, its the same M-4 rifle used by our military, and they can be had for under $1,000. I got mine for just over $800 two years ago.
Been looking at a Savage Recon...
Build your own.
You can get a Smith and Wesson M&P AR-15 for around $500 and its a great gun for the price.
We have a local guns store selling the M&P 15 Sport (shown) for $495. It’s the best deal anywhere for a Modern Sporting Rifle.
I’ll need one of each to run my own test. ;-)
Delton and DPMS are good and cheap, so I hear.
