Waiting and wondering when one of the solar panel homes with banks of batteries lights off. A lot of people are considering batteries to store the unused power.
I witnessed a single battery cellphone battery china syndrome in the passenger seat of a car and it totally destroyed the car. The window glass had melted. A bank of batteries to store solar energy will be 1000x bigger. A gas explosion will be small in comparison.
