Netflix pulled an episode of Maya the Bee, an animated childrens cartoon, after viewers noticed a penis drawing in the background.
.
.
.
Netflix has since pulled the episode (season 1, episode 35) from its streaming service. Maya the Bee is animated by French company Studio 100, which called the phallic flap a very bad joke.

That’s what I said when a saw a similar “drawing” on the exposed back of a “lady” waiting to go through security at DFW airport.
Yep, she had a tattoo of THAT on her back, fully exposed by her low cut dress. Egad these ghetto gals have no morals.

I read The Adventures of Maya the Bee by Waldemar Bonsels (New York: Seltzer, 1922) when I was 11. It has been out of print for decades, and I'm surprised that someone in Hollywood rediscovered it.
To: kevcol
Small children wouldn’t even notice it.

This show is still watched?
I remember this being on Nick Jr. when I was around 11 and my brother was a young kid almost 30 years ago.
Since it was the 80s, and it was a French production, it isnt a surprise that this was in it.

You’d have to look at the image in slow motion to see it. My gosh, really? As a teen, I guess it doesn’t offend me.

I had to work at it, but finally saw Jessica Rabbit’s secrets. You had to go frame by frame. Think of it as life’s little Easter Eggs.
