He says there's no path for Trump to get 270 votes in the electoral college, unless the polls are catastrophically wrong on an unprecedented level.

John Ziegler, who was once a rising star in conservative media and even posted on FR (until he was zotted in 2012) has gone full-bore Never-Trump. Exuding smugness and arrogance, he tells interviewer Jesse Lee Peterson that there's "no way" Donald Trump can win the election and that no "silent majority" will carry him through. In the follow-up interveiw the morning after the election, Ziegler "loses it" and throws a tantrum.

Why was he zotted?

He was apparently zotted for posting an attack on Sarah Palin.

Ironically, Ziegler had been an erstwhile supporter of Palin. He had been scheduled to do a presentation at the Western Conservative Political Action Conference in 2011 but was kicked out of the conference after a fracas with the American Conservative Union's David Keene over remarks Keene had made criticizing Palin. Shortly afterwards, Ziegler turned against Palin and began attacking her.

Whatever he is, it isn't a con man. If Ziegler wanted to make lots of money he would toe some party line.

Instead he goes never trump nutso.

Also, he's one of the big defenders of Joe Paterno, and even believes that Sandusky is innocent.

There's no big future in supporting Sandusky. Even Penn State folks who still believe JoePa knew nothing, wish never to hear the name Sandusky ever mentioned again.
