CORKER JUST ON FOX-will he run?

Posted on 09/12/2017 4:25:15 PM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

Something about October. My friends he's testing us to see if it's worth the effort to continue. Is that guy challenging him the real deal? I say send the challenger $10 every time Corker gets answers the retirement question in a wishy washy manner. Better he takes himself out than having us send top dollar to his challenger. So tell me: Are you in?

You may be right but then so does the RNC. Just who is Corker’s challenger?

I saw McCallum’s interview with corker. He was awful. I don’t send money to politicians but TN ought to be able to find someone better...

Much like the Red Cross, I don’t donate to the RNC.

I would rather see him fired and replaced with a Constitutional conservative.

He should politely decline and move on. We can give him a push. That way Trump won’t have to offer him an ambassadorship or cabinet position.

Is he the one who was considered for the VP position, but passed over for Pence? That Bob Corker was siding with the Dems last month. He stated; Trump has not demonstrated the stability or competence to be a successful president.”

His challenger, Larry Crimm, has run for various offices over the years, more often on the “D” ticket than on the “R” ticket. He’s running as a Republican this time around but he won’t get my vote.

We’re praying a Conservative will toss his/her hat in the ring SOON.

I’ve heard of Corker.

That means he is part of the problem.

I hope you’re not sending money to Crimm. He’s not the candidate.

https://ballotpedia.org/Larry_Crim

Larry Crim is a 2018 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Tennessee.[1]
Crim was a 2016 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 9th Congressional District of Tennessee. He qualified for the race but did not actively campaign.[2] Crim was defeated by incumbent Steve Cohen in the Democratic primary on August 4, 2016.[3]

Crim previously sought election to the U.S. Senate from Tennessee in both 2014 and 2012.[4] Gordon Ball defeated Crim in the Democratic primary.[5]

Crim was a Democratic candidate for District 60 of the Tennessee House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 5, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Crim was elected as the Republican Nominee for Assessor of Property for Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in 1988.[6]

Yep, that’s the info I found while looking up the “R” candidates running for TN offices next year. Had to put something together for our Republican women’s group.

I posted it in the TN forum here and made sure to email it to friends to help them start their vetting process on the candidates.

I certainly hope he doesn’t end up our only choice in the primaries next year. If he is ......

Presently, Larry Crim is in the primary bucket for Tenn Senate seat. Beyond Crim, there’s six folks on the maybe list (Corker is listed). The most notable name is the Gov (Haslam).

Haslam has potential. He’s been a businessman, mayor, etc. No corruption factor yet. He got 70-percent in the last Gov election. I think Corker views Haslam as unbeatable.

You sure had the Chattanooga “Chump” pegged back in 2006.

Politics1 has him as R; Green Papers has him as D.
Tim Burchett has made rumblings about challenging him.

Probably because he’s flip-flopped so much over the years. Either way, he’ll not get my vote.

I’ve heard there are some who might jump in but no one’s made the leap yet. Just hope we get a Conservative to run. I need to look up Burchett because I know nothing about him.
