For some years now I have been shouting from the rooftops that the Fascists/Nazis were, are, and always will be a Left-wing phenomenon. I have called it the “Big Lie” (e.g. “Right Wing Nazis: The Big Lie”), and I am delighted to see that Dinesh D’Souza sees this outrageous falsehood in the same light—naming his most recent book “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left.” (Unless otherwise stated all of the quotes in this article come from D’Souza’s book).

Fascists, or their near brethren, National Socialists, never were “right-wing”. That was a false dichotomy articulated by Joe Stalin, of Communist fame. Only from the perspective of the radical socialism of pure communism would the only somewhat less radical socialism of Fascism or National Socialism appear to lie to the right. Left of center is left of center, and it cannot migrate to the other side of the spectrum.

Even with the redefinition of words, “command and control” is diametrically opposed to that expression of freedom and personal initiative being rewarded for diligent effort and arms’ length dealing, commonly known as “capitalism”.

There is something that is called “crony capitalism”, but it is a tool of “command and control” system of government. The “right” people are rewarded, to hell with the rest.

Antifa is textbook “Little Red Book” Maoism! As with lynch mobs throughout history, the “seriousness of the charge” is the only requirement for passing sentence… they’ll even turn their own, as was the case with the white liberal professor at Evergreen State College. TOTAL thought “purity” is demanded… whatever it may be at the time, always subject to change (fine print)! Note the Antifa comrades: after the euphoria of tearing down stuff and calling everybody “racist”… realize that YOU can be denounced tomorrow as “impure”… such is the history of these Commie mob movements. The often eat their own!
