If the DNC got hacked and they were not sure what happened, wouldn't they be required or at least offer to buy identity theft protection for their contributors?

Does the mafia buy identity theft protection for it’s numbers customers?

I don’t think it’s “required”, but it’s prudent.

Nope! Democrats wanted to leave their internet wide open without any protection, so that they can use Russian hacking as an excuse for losing the election.

I just find it odd that this issue never came up in the press. If Russians hacked DNC emails, I would assume they hacked everything and would provide the typical 1 year identify theft insurance that corporations provide. I don't have any standing to sue since I am not a DNC contributor, but I find it odd that not 1 single DNC contributor has gone down this route.

They weren’t hacked. It was an inside leak.

If you are a corporation and get hacked, don’t you go out of your way to publicly rectify the situation?

Being an IT guy that was my first guess. But if you know you got hacked by Russians or suggest it, wouldn’t you provide your contributors with ID theft protection?

They knew full well it was a leak not a hack, so they bought a contract on the leaker, Seth Rich.

Supposedly the Dems had total support of Silicon Valley and they still got hacked? I agree with assumption of a leak. If they new it was a hack, wouldn’t they go out of their way to provide ID theft coverage?

Yes, of course. But DNC is all about politics. All that matters is public perception. Democrats are trying to make Trump presidency illegitimate by saying he won because of Russian hacking DNC & Podesta computer.

With Vanity posts, what see is what you get. That is why I identified it as as such. Granted your viewing format may be different than mine. I don’t post much, so will try to do better next time.

DNC is not a government agency. Don’t they have to comply with all laws? I wouldn’t think they would be exempt, but I could mistaken. If they knew a crime occurred, wouldn’t they be required to report it?
