A well-known evangelical pastor and spiritual mentor for President Donald Trump asserted Tuesday that God wont mind if the president wipes North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un off the face of the earth.
Southern Baptist pastor Robert Jeffress, who has close ties to the president, believes Trump has the moral authority to destroy Kim Jong-un.
When it comes to how we should deal with evil doers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary including war to stop evil, Jeffress explained in a statement to CBN News. Jeffress personally tweeted out the story from CBN News.
In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong-un, he added, stating, Im heartened to see that our president contrary to what weve seen with past administrations who have taken, at best, a sheepish stance toward dictators and oppressors will not tolerate any threat against the American people. When President Trump draws a red line, he will not erase it, move it, or back away from it. Thank God for a President who is serious about protecting our country.
North Korea has developed missiles of varying ranges and nuclear warheads to fit them, ensuring that the regime has the ability to deliver devastation to its neighbors and the U.S. across the Pacific Ocean. Trump warned Tuesday, in the wake of U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haleys declaration that enough is enough, that North Koreas threats will not be tolerated.
North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States, Trump explained to the White House press pool Tuesday. They will be met with the fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said, they will be met with the fire and fury and, frankly, power the likes of which this world has never seen before.
The U.N., in response to U.S. pressure, has imposed new sanctions on North Korea. The U.S. is in talks with South Korea to improve their conventional missile forces, and the U.S. sent B-1B Lancers ripping past the Korean Peninsula Monday to remind Kim Jong Un that the U.S. is ready to fight tonight, according to the U.S. Pacific Air Forces.
In response to perceived U.S. provocations, North Korea said it is seriously considering launching a nuclear strike against U.S. strategic military assets in Guam.
Tensions are running especially high, but administration officials and observers appear determined to prevent the situation from escalating into a major military conflict, which would be, in the words of Secretary of Defense James Mattis, tragic on an unbelievable scale.
Well I guess it’s about to be on....
Does he have it in writing?
That is why look for China to warn NK to back away. Because they see USA under Trump making a strong comeback.
It is hoped we hear less from Reverend Jeffress and his conversations with GOD. Like most of our clergy, (remembering Rick Warren fawning over BO’B years ago) they come out of the church’s woodwork in order to be seen and mentioned. Where were they when the CHURCH was being persecuted and brother/sisters given unfair retribution? Most were hiding behind the pulpits with their hands over their ears. The clergy/CHURCH as failed us and should be judged as such.

Spending your behind a pulpit makes you no more a RELIGIOUS LEADER than standing in your garage makes you a car. (h/t Chesterton)
Sorry for the typos, but my dander was up and fleeing
Well I am not surprised by what the Christian clergy have been doing the last few years. They have gotten by other clergy such as Pope Francis who is famous for having a motor mouth.
The motor should be coughing, sputtering, dying. Not of that religion, but do have family members who are. Their choice and I don’t fault them for that. Personally, believe this to be a faux Pope as there is One still living but kept silent. Where is the outrage from those Church members? Not just a particular religion, but all seem to have lost their moral compass.

Sometimes I think preachers should not say what they think G-d thinks is and is not OK for political leaders to do or not do. Some things should remain between them and G-d and between them and the politician they are speaking of. I think keeping it private does no harm, but I can’t say the same about not keeping it private.

Right? God used men throughout all of history to accomplish His will. Whether folks recognize it or not.
We serve a good good Father.

Sadly, those systems are only offensive .....and due to the asinine influence of the libtard & RINO Administrations following Reagan, the US is totally vulnerable to a full-on ICBM attack...
.....a nation led by a concert of fools cannot long endure.
Yes, the President was GOD-GIVEN AUTHORITY to resist evil in the world...
But, God has not promised the United States a pss on the judgement it deserves....
Queer marriage, abandonment of Israel, gross wickedness in government, perversion of justice in the courts, total abandonment of God in the schools, embracing a foreign God (Allah), mass murder of infants......
Sodom & Gomorrah had nothing on many American cities.
The same was true for Hitler & the genuine, Bible-believing Christians in Germany....and the USSR.....
...God plays one nation of against another militarily to work his judgement upon the wicked, President Trump inherited a government committed to gross perversion. Why is Trump experiencing such opposition from the cesspool in DC?
Pervasive godlessness & gross wickedness in government
Of course, God wants us to deal with evil, but I think it is arrogant to claim to know exactly what God has directed in a specific situation.
May God guide and protect our president. MAGA
What are you talking about? We have several anti-missile defense systems.
But you must surely notice that the authority doesn’t mean the orders to exercise its prerogatives.
That would be a confusion on your part if you don’t notice it. Not on the part of Trump’s advisor, and most certainly not arrogance on his part either.
As a head of a state capable of it, Trump is inextricably involved with classic “just war” considerations.
And also your line could result in fatal equivocation and dilly dallying.
I would take the assertion made as “IF Kim jong-il proves dangerously intransigent (i.e. this is about danger, not about a pissing contest) after all warnings about what we have the right to do, THEN we have the right to do all those things.”
None of them anywhere near capable of reliably defending the entire US....what are U talking about?.....The systems we have in place only have a proven success rate of 50% (in dealing with a singular threat missile)....
.....Reagan’s ‘Star Wars’ defensive system was scorned by thecommie-friendly left & NEVER BUILT.
Describe for me your military career.
