NEW YORK (AP) — Evangelical supporters of President Donald Trump on Monday requested a meeting with Pope Francis over a recent critical article in a Vatican-vetted journal.
Johnnie Moore, a leader of Trump’s evangelical advisory board and a spokesman for some of its members, said he sent the request to Rome in response to an article published last month that accused some American Catholics of building an alliance of “hate” with evangelicals who backed the president.
The two authors of the piece are confidants of Francis. They published their article in the Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica, which is reviewed by the Vatican Secretariat of State.....

Not good to hear anybody trying to get closer to Francis, but “Pope” Francis is as much an enemy to Trump - and the United States - as Hillary and Soros. Not quite as dangerous as Obola and Pelosi, but quite close.
Maybe they want to cast out demons.
It is absolutely fake news that any significant number of evangelicals haven’t picked up on the fact that Francis is a hard left communists of the population control variety.
I visit a lot of churches in my line of work, and I haven’t met too many people who think an ideologue of Francis’s stripe is open to debate.
It’s like a dialogue with Fidel Castro. None of those ever accomplished anything either unless you were about to bomb the snot out of him and the assault was already prepared to launch.
Any meetings with that Marxist are of no value.

To be honest, if you didn’t realize that the prior Administration was a significantly Muslim Brotherhood effort then you might be blind to said Administration’s cultural Marxism or the current Pope’s socialism too. Never mind his blindness about Islam (I hope he’s just blind about Islam).
