PAYBACK: White House Officials Say John McCain Leak Investigation Should Proceed
True Pundit ^ | July 28, 2017 | Adm.

White House officials who fingered Sen. John McCain as a major intelligence leak against President Donald Trump in February said Friday they believe the Justice Department could prosecute McCain despite his recent alleged medical diagnosis of a brain tumor.

“Justice is supposed to be blind,” one administration insider said. “We know he was a major leak and he should be prosecuted if evidence is found which we clearly believe is there. We’ve seen much of it. No special consideration should be given to anyone who leaks classified information. There were far too many special exceptions like that during the Obama administration.”

Is this payback for McCain voting against and basically defeating the Obamacare repeal in the Senate only hours earlier?

An administration official said no, highlighting the Justice Department doesn’t make exceptions for not prosecuting mob or cartel members suffering from health issues, so why should a U.S. senator prove an exception. The official said there is a possibility McCain knew he was sick at the time of the leaks and decided to railroad President Trump which would be made public as part of any criminal case.

True Pundit broke the McCain leak story in February:

This could be the beginning of the end for embattled Sen. John McCain’s life in politics. According to White House officials, McCain is believed to have somehow gained access to the content of President Donald Trump’s private, classified telephone calls with world leaders. And he isn’t keeping quiet about what was talked about either.

An analysis of McCain’s recent public statements by White House officials, coupled with information from intelligence personnel working with the Trump administration, paints a disturbing picture for McCain — or any elected U.S. politician. Officials believe the senator has inside knowledge of a number of President Trump’s telephone conversations, including at least one conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Even more alarming, officials believe McCain is secretly sharing this sensitive information with colleagues and his cabal of friendly mainstream media journalists in a dangerous clandestine campaign to damage Trump’s presidency even before it has a chance to succeed. Trump has been searching for media rats in the Beltway in recent weeks. White House aides are confident they have now outed one of the major leaks plaguing the early days of the Trump presidency. To everyone’s surprise, it is a senior senator supposedly belonging to the same side of the political aisle as the president.

McCain has been lambasting Trump to anyone and everyone who will listen since the newly minted president’s inauguration. This includes a Russian comedian who pranked McCain posing as Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman. Even during that troubling conversation, where McCain shared sensitive U.S. intelligence with an imposter, White House aides said McCain unknowingly exposed himself as having inside knowledge of Trump’s telephone conversations.

Uh-oh! Does a conviction mean he can’t get buried in Arlington?

Would like to see him indicted, but given his “health” he will likely skip any meaningful punishment. He will have to account for his life before a much higher court. May God have mercy

Bury him in the Fort Levenworth prison cemetery.

There he would get real gov't health care that he inflicts on his constituents! I'm now sure what he did for the Vets in his area of "expertise!"

The guy is a bum. He is probably a security-info leaker. On one level his Depends is leaking, I suppose. Investigate...prosecute. His “I’m a Vet” card expired many, many years ago.

No chance in hell that the Senate or House would consider any investigation into one their own.

Based on devastating damage caused to this Nation, this turncoat scumbag, along with his twin Roberts, will be historically remembered in the same way as the Rosenbergs.

McCain’s only time of honor was as a prisoner. He acquitted himself with great honor. Many will dispute this but it is real. He was stalwart and honorable as a POW and due to his status as the son of the Admiral commanding the US Pacific Command he was singled out for particularly brutal treatment.

John McCain was a piss poor pilot that should have been washed out. He was an even worse politician. I admire his war record, but that is the only thing in John McCain to be admired. His personally life is a record of destruction. All his honor was left in Hanoi.

This can easily be fixed.. Just leak that McCain is going to release severely damaging information about Hillary and then stand back..

I’m thinking that McCain’s brain is a multi-purpesed sham;

1. Creates drama around him.

2. Gives him good and unjustified PR.

3. “Charlie Gard’s” the repeal vote on ObamaCare (runs out the clock).

“Good. Bury the old buzzard. He needs to go.
They also need an audit of his “foundation”.”

I agree. They also need to look into his making Nam POW information sealed from their families and public. Just check with veterans who served with him and learn about why he was called “songbird”. In my opinion, McCain is not a hero, but a traitor.

See my post #53. I agree with you. He’s a traitor and it makes me sick hearing him called a hero. He is NOT a hero.

I’d be OK with him in Leavenworth on government healthcare.

But then, my sweetheart served in Nam, and I know he and I will not see McCain or Kerry in heaven when we get there. :)

Absolutely AUDIT the MCCAIN FOUNDATION. Keep in mind that Graham is in deep with the Russian dossier, too.
