What do you think the consequence should be for losing a grenade launcher? A 40MM Abrams Airborne Mfg Inc Less Lethal Multi-Launcher and related ammunition fell from the back canopy of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) vehicle during the early morning hours of July 23. It is believed the items were lost in the vicinity of the Golden Ears Bridge in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
A passing motorist alerted the Integrated Emergency Response Team officer to his open canopy, at which point it was discovered several items, including the grenade launcher, were missing.
The grenade launcher is commonly used for crowd control, utilizing pepper spray and rubber bullets to disperse crowds. It is also capable of shooting ammunition through glass and drywall. Read and see the full video on police grenade launcher returns here.
The first question that comes to mind is what are police doing with a grenade launcher
That's to help insure the future will not belong to those who insult the false prophet.
Does finders keepers losers weepers rule count here?
He should have fed-exed it to the WH with a note asking the same question. Watch the SS come knocking with embarrassment.
Firing tear gas, I think.
They used to fire rubber “baton” rounds from them, but I think they have discontinued that.
If I’m reading it correctly, this is in Canada.
Canada. Blame it.
So they can kill multiple dogs at one time.
Hate police, do ya?
I hate bad cops, I love the good ones.
You know that when they “visit” you, they are going to do one of two things: 1. Shoot the family dog. 2. Absent the family dog, shoot you. Don’t believe that, ask the guy that lived across the street from the guy they were supposed to serve a warrant on. But rest easy, because after thy shoot you, their story will be that you came to the door with a gun in your hand and refused to drop it, therefore they had no choice but to fill you full of lead.
And BLMers and their ilk have exactly the opposite problem.
Very true. I have fond memories of my interactions with the police during my youth.
Nearly every single interaction I have had has been quite positive, and the one that wasn’t, wasn’t all that bad...
Although when his colleague showed up later, he apologized for his behavior, before he had any chance to know what it even was! Poor guy was pretty burned out.
My thoughts exactly: What are the Queen’s Cowboys doing with a military weapon?
“If I had a Grenade Launcher...some son-of-a-bitch would die.”
Apparently not. OF Course I personally would have returned it ;-)
I’ve always wondered what I would do if I were fortunate enough to find a firearm.
I guess it might depend on what it was and where.
On the street, I might turn it in, in the woods, I’d ask around for the owner and maybe place a call to the Sheriff, but I’d also be measuring for space in my gun cabinet
