CRUZ FOR SCOTUS 2020

Posted on 07/23/2017 6:59:30 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

Perfect timing-rattle their cages big time . His confirmation hearings would be right in the heat of the election season, articulating the GOP positions that the cowards in our party won't defend. What are the Democrats gonna do?

There's more: When the election is over Cruz has the option of DECLINING the job, starting a new set of hearings, pissing off and exposing OUR turncoats. It all starts with an orchestrating meeting between Trump and Clarence Thomas-payback. LMFAO.

I do not trust a man whose judgement allowed him to marry a CFR one-worlder. Perhaps he agrees with them, in either case, no.

Cruz would be a true champion of the constitution. I’d hate to lose 20% of the conservatives in the senate though.

That’s why I said he could decline the position after the hearings/election. A bit flakey but tell me the Democrats aren’t.

No
His skeletons were never unburied and he was never totally vetted and exposed because he was never a viable contender for the nomination

But the information about his character and habits lies in hands that would use it to blackmail and control him
One compromised justice ( Roberts) is already too many

Partisan? We got the majority. Skeletons? We got the majority. Rub their noses in it? Let them do it to themselves. We have to show Trump we have his back. Ain’t been happening.

Who are you projecting to be gone from the SCOTUS so
that Cruz could be nominated?

Cruz is looking toward 2020. If Trump does not fire Mueller, he may be finished as POTUS, either by impeachment, resignation or a mea culpa like LBJ. Cruz is in the wings.

And not to mention the fact that Cruz’s father had something to do with the shooting of Oswald. That’s true because it was in the National Enquirer and Trump believes it.

Lol, you forgot the sarcasm tag, for the benefit of those on FR that really hate Cruz, I.e. approximately 75%.

Canadians can be SCOTUS. MR. deport-As I said Clarence Thomas can ‘orchestrate’ his retirement.

I think I’d rather see him as Senate majority leader. He’s been darn effectime and creative with his legislation. I think he would flourish in a leadership role..if the Senate can, in fact, hold on to a majority. McConnell has to go.

You mean 100% of them.

He’s not popular with his colleagues. That’s why he’d make the SCOTUS, they’d vote for him to get rid of him. I’d think he’d be a good justice too, he’s more of an ivory tower guy.

If he really is a constitutionally as he and his fans says he is. He would have a far more effective & far longer positive effect on restoring constitutional government as a member of SCOTUS then continuing as senator or even being POTUS. (Which he is temperamentally unsuited to achieve! Note I am not passing judgement on his eligibility! Different issue!)

Do you really think that Lyn’ Ted is potential candidate? Last word is he is likely to lose his senate seat. He never came clean on all his lies, he is hated loser. Should pack up and go back to Canada, else explore moving to Cuba.
