It’ll be Meghan McCain, of course.

Shes already signed up to run for election again in 2018, but this time she will be running against Sen. Jeff Flake. Judging from his remarks the other day it looks like Trump is going to support her against Flake. It would sure be great to replace McCain and Flake with real conservatives.

You can trust that the last thing that will be considered is the American people.
I could see special arrangements being made for McCain to continue. The Democrats may even suggest it.
The American people will be way down on the list of priorities.

He’s planning on returning to the Senate after a few treatments, according to Lindsey Graham.

Arizona is going to have a two-fer. For a change, they need to choose wisely. For a state that prides itself in being a “conservative stronghold,” it certainly hasn’t shown itself to be so by reason of the people it sends to Washington.

Didn’t the governor just sell Obama’s senate seat to the highest bidder?

Maybe they could pick a Repub for a change.

I hope Ducey picks Kelly Ward, because I am not confident she can win in 2018, if she wins the primary. But winning as an incumbent may be an easier ticket for her.

I don’t know anything about Gov Ducey but why wouldn’t he just pick himself instead of risking reelection?
I’m sure the kickbacks are a lot bigger for a junior senator than for a small state governor.
Dr Ward would be a good choice but why not pick yourself?

I absolutely loath Senator John McCain. I also am in awe of Captain McCain the pilot although his skill in the air was not that great. In prison in Hanoi he was a damn good man to be admired. For this he should be commended.
To be even talking about what how and when he might be replaced due to illness is just plain damn wrong.

I say Jeff DeWit, AZ State Treasurer, & Trump's AZ Campaign Manager. He was in early on Trump and he is a firebrand. 44 years old. His wife's not too bad either.

If not Kelli Ward, then two other possibilities would be, either, Sarah Palin, or Marilyn Quayle.

Hopefully his replacement will be a Republican this time and not another Obama loving Democrat.

He will never retire from the Senate.
