Dunkin Donuts, founded in Quincy MA in 1950, has eschewed politics to serve a great cup of coffee and dozens of delicious, fattening, carb-loaded, yummy donuts.
They now have 11,300 stores worldwide and still growing.

Most companies are smart enough not to trumpet divisive stands on issues. They just want to sell you a product or service. For instance, I have no idea what Hardee’s/Carl’s Junior’s stance on gay marriage, race relations or feminism might be.

I did a quick look at Starbucks cash flow and stock price. It appears they can do or say anything and it won’t affect their wallets. Anybody have a more nuanced read on this?
