I didn't realize how powerful and thorough AdBlock was until I was at a friend's house and saw how many popups and ads he was getting when I pointed him to the same sites and stories I had already visited on my computer.
If anyone wants a quiet, sensible, uninterrupted browsing experience free from commercials then get AdBlock.
I have found ghostery to go farther than adblock.
The internet is barely usable without AdBlock or other.
