The only times I come close to seeing any of these Trump-hating liberals is when someone on FR posts a picture and I look before I realize who it is - or Hannity might show one of his montages to show how low the MSM is stooping.
I’m trying very hard to banish these people from my sight and my hearing. I boycott their shows, I mute the token liberals on the five or Tucker Carlson or Hannity, I avert my gaze as much as possible. I don’t know what else I can do.
To be honest, I wish there wasn’t so much of this “see what the other side is saying” crap on FR and on Hannity, etc. I realize it’s a sport - that some FReepers like to discuss how outrageous the liberals are, or like to practice their debating skills against a devil’s advocate position.
But I’m so tired of the liberal talking points and non-stop Trump hate. It’s shallow, empty and repetitive. It doesn’t teach me anything of value. I don’t care about converting my liberal acquaintances any more - you can’t fix stupid - I avoid the stupid conversations.
I know it seems like I’m not being open minded - that I just want to hear what I agree with. But I think it’s the left’s fault for being so lame and irrational and dishonest.
if the left would just pick up their game a little, be honest for a change, use logic, cut the blatant double standards, rehearsed talking points, lies, hyperbole and emotionalism, I swear I would be happy to reengage in the conversation.
Until then, I just want their ratings to tank, so they all get fired, go out of business, whatever - maybe the owners will rethink their network programming, what’s on right now is garbage and nobody should be giving it the time of day.
