This week, Karen Handel became the first Republican woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from the great state of Georgia. She beat out her male Democratic opponent for the seat in the most expensive House race in U.S. history, shattering all kinds of glass ceilings in the process.
But according to liberal feminist writer Jill Filipovic, you’re a toxic and vindictive person if you voted for her.
Yep. Instead of being happy that a woman won a seat in Congress, Filipovic actually called Handel’s voters “hateful white people” because they didn’t elect the straight white man. Why? Because according to the left, if a woman’s on the ticket, you have to vote for her, simply because she’s got lady parts. Unless she’s a conservative, in which case, you’re a sexist who hates women if you do vote for her.
