When Fox News announced in April they had fired network star Bill OReilly, many of the conservative commentators most loyal followers urged other conservative television networks to sign him, such as One America News, Newsmax or even TheBlaze.
But as TheBlaze reported on Friday, OReilly plans to hire several journalists and news producers to begin his own in-house video operation at BillOReilly.com. He even poached a producer from Fox News to work for him.
Now more details have been released about OReillys future.
According to Newser, OReilly said during at a public appearance on Long Island Saturday evening that he intends to launch a nightly 30 minute broadcast from a studio that resembles his longtime Fox show The Factor.
I am starting my own operation. We are going to do that, OReilly said, according to Newser.
Its basically an experiment to see how many people are going to want this service. Thats coming and will be here before September in a robust form, he explained.
OReilly also hinted at the possibility that a new conservative news network will emerge from his show.
I suspect there will be another network maybe merging with us. There will be a network that rises up because the numbers for Fox are going down, he said.
During his remarks, which came during a question and answer session, OReilly also explained that in the coming weeks, he will release more evidence that proves his ousting from Fox was an organized effort by his detractors mainly those on the left.
Since his departure from Fox, OReilly has hosted a regular podcast from his website.
Why couldn’t he produce a one hour show that could be picked up by any network...OAN?
Steyn will not need Fox. When Limbaugh retires, Steyn is the only one who can more than fill those shoes. Rush knows that too.
YAWN
Viewers have suggested that he join OANN. Other viewers have suggested he join Newsmax. Still others hve suggested he sign on with The Blaze. He has options if he wants to go that route.
He and Beck are quite good friends. They used to tour together. I think he’d be a good pickup for The Blaze.
My point exactly. Say what you will about Bill, but he's good for ratings.
I predicted when they shuffled the lineup that The Five wasn’t strong enough for prime time. I think I’ve been proven right so far.
Why all thgis hatred for Beck? Glenn Beck has been one of teh leading conservative spokesmen for a number of years now. He’s one of the few standing up for our values and principles.
Of course, so has Alan Dershowitz... LOL!
You were right on the mark, TBP...so was I and many others who sensed the fatal flaws in this poorly produced show inserted in a wrong time slot.

The common FR opinion of Glenn Beck, which I share, is that he is an anti-Trump nut case and drama queen.
A long time ago I was a Beck supporter. No more. A new conservative network will not be able to establish its credibility if Beck is on board.
Nice turn of phrase.
He is neither anti-Trump nor pro-Trump. He’s a very good spokesman for constitutional principles. He knows his stuff and knows how to tell it.
He’s been very supportive of quite a few of Trump’s policies and nominees, though he said as recently as today that he’d like the President to focus less on the investigations and more on the issues.
And he has a very strong crew at The Blaze, including Dana Loesch, Lawrence Jones, and others.
