Ann Coulter was a big supporter of then-candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, but so far she's been underwhelmed by the Trump presidency.
On Friday, Coulter unleashed a series of tweets, ripping Trump for his lack of progress on building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, addressing illegal immigration and halting the flow of Middle Eastern refugees into our country....

Site acquisition for a new prison is underway and will require in a number of cases, the exercise of eminent domain involving court cases and human rights concerns. The shutdown of Gitmo is also underway thanks to President Obama’s executive order setting a deadline. You people claiming Obama “broke his campaign promise” seems to believe that the relocation of Gitmo prisoners is going to happen overnight. Not so. Change takes time. Obama can’t clean up this mess he inherited overnight. Give him eight years, and Gitmo detainees will be a thing of the past.

First year? It’s barely half a year. There were RFPs out on the wall, maybe Ann missed that. Also the whole travel ban is now up at the Supreme Court. Just what does she want? She’s acting like a FReakin’ FReeper.
Ann is right. If the wall isn’t funded in the budget this fall, then it won’t be built. Trump hasn’t fought Ryan and McConnell whatsoever on this. We don’t know the Democrats won’t win in the mid-terms, so it’s not going to be built after that.

This was our one chance for a wall and the slime on the left gummed up the works. Sadly the globalists that infest the Republican Party AND Free Republic don’t care.

He has fought. They refuse to put it in the budget be ause chamber of commerce owns congress and knows the wall will work.
Tell me how to fund it if congress won’t appropriate money for it.

I hadn’t considered this during campaign, but Trump’s possible campaign oversight with the wall seems to be that the ’16 - ’17 federal fiscal year, ending at the end of Sept. ’17, didn’t include the wall.

Corrupt Congress probably let Obama stash more than enough taxpayer dollars to pay for wall in some cubbyhole, but RINO Congress probably isn’t going to give Trump any clues if such is the case.
Also, consider that patriots need to work with Trump to move the start of the federal fiscal year and tax day to the week before election day.
I didn’t say he has to fund it. I said that he hasn’t fought them on it. He hasn’t tweeted once against them not funding the wall. You sound like the people who told us that George W. Bush had terrorism to worry about instead of immigration after 9/11.
Trump should have insisted on money for the wall or veto the continuing resolution a couple months ago. If he doesn’t do it in the next budget it will never get done. If he stands firm and “shuts down” the government, Congress will cave. Obama did just that.
Ann needs to chill out. Good God, the man has only been in office for five months and has been fending off a coup attempt since Day One.
