A Fantasy: James Comey Takes a Stand in the Clinton Case
It is late afternoon on July 1, 2016. FBI Director James Comey and U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch are meeting privately in her office at the U.S. Justice Department. There is tension in the air as the two begin to discuss the Clinton matter once again.
Comey: Ms. Lynch, my agents have spent an inordinate amount of time investigating Hillary Clintons security breaches while she was Secretary of State to determine whether she and her aides violated any laws. As you know, we recovered a significant number of her email files, including the ones she thought she deleted. Ms. Clinton decided not to use the secure government email system. Instead, she set up her own email system. Therefore, all of her correspondence, including highly classified information, was transmitted and received on the private email server she had installed in her home. I have about 150 investigators on the case and the evidence is overwhelming that she is guilty of criminal gross negligence and willfully bypassing the governments secure communications network. The evidence shows she did so to keep all her correspondence private while she was Secretary of State and out of the hands of anyone or any organization that might request her documents under the Freedom of Information Act.

Comey’s reasoning was in line with the Court giving rolling over and FDR what he wanted in the name of preserving their independence.
You can only preserve a Democracy by protecting criminals in high office in the same world where you have to abandon the Republic to save it.
I think he is a national hero to the MSM-Democrats, for faking the circumstances that would trigger the naming of an independent prosecutor.
That will give the Democrats the leverage they need to tip the balance of the House in their favor after the 2018 elections, which will enable them to impeach DJT.
That's their theory anyway.
My bad, I inserted the wrong link, this is the correct link:

The hero biz doesn’t pay as well as the weasel biz.
He could have been a contender...
Looks like that point is moot at this time. Comey got nailed and exposed his own to protect his own hide. What you suggest has practically no chance of happening at this point.
And don’t forget that when she had State Department emails directed to her private server that was thousands of counts of theft of government property, and later the destruction of thousands of pieces of government property.
Here’s a woman known to be careless with secret and even top-secret documents, her husband put himself into a position to be blackmailed, and she was in tight with an administration that flew a plane load of $100 bills to Iran, but the press wants us to believe the Russians would rather have Trump than her. Ludicrous!!!
...Instead of just another bum....
“”Comeys reasoning was in line with the Court giving rolling over and FDR what he wanted in the name of preserving their independence””
I think I know what you meant to say but your fingers weren’t in sync with your thoughts....Happens to the best of us and all too often as the years go by...
“a hero or a goat”
GMTA!..................
I sincerely hope you are correct and that your confidence is not misplaced.
But the “independent prosecutor” will be almost impossible to remove, and will stay in place for as long as DJT is President.
He can be expected to disrupt every election with October surprises, just as Lawrence Walsh did with the Caspar Weinberger, Oliver North, and John Poindexter.
If Trump fires him, expect an incredible firestorm of Watergate comparisons.
No not what you mean, I do, young Padawan!
Excellent
No chance. Hero’s do what needs to be done regardless of the outcome. Comey did what was in his perception of his best interests in order to influence the outcome.
I remain optimistic..............................
