".....Less than two months after OReillys departure, the Murdoch family fortune has declined substantially, as investors unsure of Fox News future have scrambled to escape what some think is a very slowly sinking ship.
According to an analysis by Forbes of the Murdochs fortune, the familys net worth is estimated to have declined by more than $1 billion since April 1.
Forbes reports the decline is largely due to falling stock price of 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News. On March 28, just a few weeks before OReilly was dismissed, the share price of 21st Century Fox was $32.44. On Friday, it was trading around $27.93, a decline of 13.9 percent. About 70 percent of the Murdoch fortune is invested in 21st Century Fox stock.
Investors sell-off of Fox stock has been due largely to concerns over whether Fox News, one of 21st Century Foxs most important businesses, can recover after losing OReilly and enduring numerous other scandals....."

Whoever’s decision it was to put “the 5” in prime time should be fired. That show is completely unwatchable for anyone with any sense and don’t even get me started on “redeye”, which is one of the dumbest shows in all of cable TV.
Well, I guess they had a good run while it lasted but now it’s time for another network to pick up the conservative ball and run with it.
A billion here, a billion there, it’s not going to matter to them at all.....until something much worse happens.
The trouble is there is no Big Conservative Network. Sinclair may be in a position to start one or one may appear. Fox News made a LOT of money.

1 billion dollars?
That’s a bit more than O’Reilly was getting under contract. Lose/Lose.
The fix was already in: soros will comp the murdoch spawn for any of their news corp losses.
I don’t believe that. The Murdochs are simply out until and if their stock price rises. Junior went social justice warrior and forgot he is running a business. Soros is no fool. He won’t bail them out.
Public companies have boards of directors who exist specifically to increase shareholder value. They can also fire dopey libtard captains who flounder the vessel. Generally, it’s too late by that time however.
M A G A!
Well, the Blaze isn’t exactly an objective observer since Beck got canned by Fox, too.
Dropped the NY Post (full of #NeverTrump snark front to back by ex-NYT staffers) , haven’t had the WSJ for years, and dialed back Fox News to about 2 hours a week from 2 hours a day.
The stock price is a fact. Bias does not apply.
Specialists is even worse. I’ll be shocked if Eric Bolling doesn’t go postal on his two idiot co-hosts. Where in hell did they get that child Kat Timpf. She’s not only obnoxious but dumb. Today’s two guests were excellent and made Timpf and the nonstop talker Eboni Williams look particularly stupid.
I’ll stay with FNC for Tucker, Judge Jeanine, Hannity, and Fox ‘n Friends. These shows are pro-Trump and pro-American.
Can “The Blaze” hire somebody who knows how to spell “fared”?
The 5 at 9 is good. It’s really opened up from a light hearted 5-6 intro to Brett Baird to a free for all pile on Juan anything goes. It’s like crossfire but without the other side.
I like Tucker and Hannity. Take / leave The Five. Mostly b/c of idiotic or lying leftists.
Tucker is pretty good. Liz Wheeler on OAN as good as Tucker. Maybe better.
Just a notice to FoxNews and the Murdoch.......whenever flaming Libs, like Marie Barf, come on FoxNews to comment, I TURN OFF YOUR STATION. You guys have ‘jumped the shark’. Having flaming, lying Leftists on is not what what’s left of your audience wants to hear. You should wise up or you will go bankrupt!
