Fake news or an utterly stupid and childish remark from Trump?
Does the King of Saudi Arabia ever give public speeches wishing all Christians a Merry Christmas on December 25? No, because Christianity is outlawed in the kingdom and Christians would be beheaded if found out to be practicing their faith
So why do our presidents continue to do this “Happy Ramadan” crap?
I wish Muslims would visit Barrow, Alaska for a month this time of the year.
He should have added that he looks forward to their Imams preaching that murder means eternity in hell. Now that would get some attention.

I think he has to- his comments on campaign trail regarding Muslims has cost him his EO with leftist courts. Several times they site his comments that he was targeting Muslims in his travel delay. We know that the courts should have decided on Presidents constitutional authority but they didn’t. Now it goes to SC. Had he not made those comments, I surmise his EO’s would not have been over-turned because they couldn’t have used his statements as a reason to over-turn.
At least they didn’t do Ramadan at WH- kudos to President.
My exact thought when reading this. Allah IS NOT the same God of The Bible. Allah has NO characteristics of the trinity we worship.
Sad to say, “W” and it appears Trump and his staff never sat down and studied other religions to lead America in the truth, not fake news about religions. This is tragic for us as a country and Christians/Jews.

Special Holy Days can be translated to a solar calendar annually as needed. Solar calendars are a social efficiency though I recognize that changing horses midstream is not without issues.

Not sure the Sovereign would be called a ‘lunatic’ since He gave us the sun, moon and stars for signs, and appointed times and days and years (Genesis 1:14)
I like this verse as it helped me understand what a ‘Day of the New Moon’ was:
Ezekiel 46:1
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The gate of the inner court facing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the DAY OF THE NEW MOON it is to be opened.
Those words come from the Creator.
And it doesn’t mean much unless one understands why Israel was commanded to do this-

That Revelation 12 sign, with the woman, and the sun, and that ‘moon under her feet’ happened the last three 3 years, in part, in the sky above our heads-especially the ‘moon under her feet’ part.
The last three years those were ‘Day of the New Moon’ or the 1st Day of His 7th/8th/7th month respectively, on the Father’s calendar.
But the world tends to go with Rome..
And religion tended to swing and miss because of it.

I see what you did there :). Any other place north of the arctic circle works as well for me...preferably not in the western hemisphere of influence, though.
