Boycott
Im actually a little surprised by this, if only because it seems in recent years major league sports have been pretty intimidated by the forces of political correctness. Which is to say: They know who will scream and boycott if they dont give them what they want, and all large, high-profile institutions want to avoid the bad publicity that comes with such things.
Oscar Lopez Rivera is a terrorist responsible for more than 100 bombings, but thats old news. The new news is that Barack Obama commuted his sentence on his way out the door, which makes Rivera a new left-wing icon. He is also a bit of a hero to some people of Puerto Rican heritage who dont really know the full story of what he did. The Fire Department of New York knows it, though, which is why theyre skipping this years annual Puerto Rican Day Parade after the organizers decided to honor Rivera as part of the festivities.
Everything you ever wanted to know about liberals is encapsulated in this one little diorama of the freed Puerto Rican terrorist.
Tells you all you need to know.
Why do we have to read about this in the Canada Free Press?
You know why.
The left adores its murderers.
“You know why.”
No, I really don’t.
Was flipping channels on the car radio and came upon some slut news about Saudi Arabia and womens rights fighting the struggle...it was ESPN! Sports has been my refuge through all the madness of my life and now, now I can’t even listen to sports without some horseshit leftist spin.
....and the NYPD?
Grrrrrr.
Of COURSE they do. Damn, I HATE the media and liberals, but that is redundant...
This type of thing is appalling to ‘normal’ Americans, but people have become so brainwashed they elected someone who is good friends with a known and unapologetic terrorist (Bill and Bernadine Ayers) not once, but twice.
In my America, Obama wouldn’t have been a senator (not that he actually was one) never mind a President.
