The tectonic plates of cable news ratings are shifting, as Fox News struggles to recover from sexual harassment scandals and the departure of its most popular host, Bill O'Reilly.

Sounds like they need to get a raging clue.
Fox News has been near unwatchable for a long long time..
There was a time it was the go to source... long ago... but honestly CNN has been a better source than Fox for a long time now, and that’s unfathomable for someone who remembers fox in their prime.
Fox Business is probably my go to source anymore,
However Cable News is largely swill across the board. If there isn’t some major breaking event going on, I don’t waste my time with cable news.. or any broadcast news..
How unexpected!! [/s]
I thought it was a bad sign many years ago when Shep Smith started to give progressive commentary on the air—and was not immediately fired as a result.
Yea kennedy’s Schlick I find more irritating than clever, but she does bring some views that I don always agree with, but isn’t usually too preachy with them, and usually at least one of her guests isn’t just shilling talking points
Back in the day, Britt Hume on special report was the most insightful political daily broadcast on TV.... when he “retired” Fox News value for getting a clearer view of the political events of the day plummeted.
Once Hume left that show, the lineup became 100% spin, and worthless
Chris Wallace on “Fox ‘n Friends” this morning just pounded another nail into FNC’s coffin. Wallace refused to accept that the Media hysteria over “The Russians” and the Comey firing was in fact hysteria.
Wallace is a Liberal hack and unwatchable. And so is FNC.
Breitbart is getting there. We don't need a conservative cable channel, with the trend being people "cutting the cord" and going to pure Internet services like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc.
Conservative media also needs to copy the successful operating basis of Rush, as far as getting advertisers. Major national advertisers don't like the noise and boycott efforts that the Left can generate, so they are less likely to want to be on conservative media. Rush's program uses local advertisers in each radio stations area.
In an Internet service, you can micro-tailor ads down to the neighborhood of the watcher.
I haven’t watched Fox, CNN or MSNBC since the election.
I am too busy hunting for Russians under the bed. :-)
Fox is not collapsing because of “sexual harassment scandals,” it is collapsing because Roger Ailes is no longer guiding the agenda. The new power group of entitled pansy-boys who are reshaping Fox to please their gold-digging wives - they are the problem.
Followed by Juan.
I wonder if Wallace is into spirit cooking ...

You can't have those leading Fox be girly afraid of the NYT and expect to be successful. Basically the NYT owns them. It's pathetic.
Shep Smith needs to go to CNN, Bravo, or the Style channel.
There will be another conservative channel pop up with all these personalities. Just a matter of time.
O’Reilly claims this is a hit job, but I suspect in part he brought this on himself to a degree.
They started turning left and now they are going in the tank.
I remember when Hannity was not the best show on FOX. Same show . . .
Fox Business is my go-to default cable news channel, starting with Stuart Varney and ending with Lou Dobbs.
As for Fox News Channel, after Fox and Friends, it’s all pretty much downhill for the rest of the day.
Hannity is okay yet entirely too critical.
One would think, after all he did to provide President Trump with frequent forums (interviews, town halls) during the campaign, he might actually focus more on President Trump’s achievements so far!!!
OANN is fine but not 24/7 and a little bland.
I wish they would hire Bill O’Reilly to anchor their prime time lineup. He could kick things off at 8 PM with Graham Ledger and Liz Wheeler following perhaps.
I hope and pray that Fox News doesn’t go completely in the tank because they are the only bona fide established outlet for our wonderful POTUS. Hate to think he will be at the mercy or lack thereof of all cable news, looking forward to the next eight years and reelection in 2020!!!
The 5 is unwatchable. You have 3 NeverTrumpers and one Beckle just sits there and calls the President names for an hour. Gutfeld is a buffoon who sees himself as a genius.
Faux “news”.
