The tectonic plates of cable news ratings are shifting, as Fox News struggles to recover from sexual harassment scandals and the departure of its most popular host, Bill O'Reilly.

The only reason to turn on news is to either see actual truth a la Sean Hannity or if something major has occurred in the world. The internet is good enough for everything else.
I see less fox news then CNN. Though the little i see Tucker is fun to watch. All major news I only see clips of. I don't have TV anymore. I doubt I'm alone.
Ok the usual over dramatic Fox News sucks theatrics here
Even like it is now it’s still very very much apart from the other networks
It’s nonsensical to pretend otherwise
Is it moving left...damn right it is and because the cucked Murdoch brats want it that way and are doing just that when the chance happens
CNN and MSNBC etc are all very very left now
And quite homo and minority driven as well
Is half America gay and brown
It looks that way on those two networks
Fox Business is much better
Given how Fox is headed in what has to be the worst business decision I’ve seen since the Edsel we do need a Breitbart network or similar
Not anything with Glen Beck..
Please.....
Yes, Fox News Channel is on its way to failure. Actually, it’s viewing and listening viewers have been abandoning FNC for the last couple of years. I rarely watch it anymore, and listen mainly to Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson & Jesse Watters. The “Prime Time” lineup is a total failure...with only Carlson & Hannity bring any weight to the TV screen. The worst is “The Five” which should be dumped this instant!!! The only person worth saving on The Five is Kimberly Guilfoyle. And...Shepard Smith is a total zero!!!
A major, instant improvement can be immediately and painlessly made to the FNC Prime Time lineup...move Lou Dobbs into the 9:00PM slot...but also keep him in his regular slot at Fox Business News. The FBN is loaded with both male & female talent!!!
Look, folks someone, somebody is going to figure it out that the American public wants a 100% conservative political channel. As soon as that actually happens, Fox News Channel will die overnight. Rupert Murdoch & his liberal, left-wing sons, have nary a clue!!! Murdoch like “Hitler” created a “Magnificent Nation”, and like “Hitler” did to Germany, in his madness, hate & bigotry, is now self-destroying the TV ratings kingdom he built....stupid man!!!
Agree # 27.
OAN One America News
Best show: Tipping Point w/ Liz Wheeler
She’s smart & hot (Everything meagin wanted to be, but just wasn’t there)
Conservatives are too well informed to watch a Leftist FoxNews channel and leftists won’t watch FoxNews regardless because they hate it and wish it would die.
So of course the ratings are tanking.
It’s not just losing O’Reily.
Moving the 5 to 9 has ruined that show.
Eric Boling at 5 with his fools suck.
But hey, the Murdock females want to go to fancy parties.
Agreed. Worth repeating.........however, rumors have it that Kimberly Guilfoyle might be leaving to join Trump's communications staff with Rep. Chaffetz leaving Congress to replace her on The Five...............
The defining moment will come when Fox announces “The Bill and Barrack News Hour” ...
When Lou asks a question of a guest, he just goes on and on repeating the question in a different way while the guest sits helplessly silent. The after the guest gets time to say a few words, its back to Lou and his babbling ... Lou uses his guests as a foil for his opinions, when, I for one, often tune in to hear what the guest has to say but no ...
The new 5:00 p.m. “The Specialists” is beyond awful.
You are exactly right. I love Lou, but he yammers endlessly when he has guests. I find myself being embarrassed for him sometimes. I’m surprised that guests even waste their time going on his show - except for the money, of course. There is that.
And Charles Payne.
The Fox “News” Division is led by “Special Report” and “Shepard Smith.” There is precious little conservative POV on either of those two shows.
The 5 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM shows are littered with Trump-hating RINOs and drooling Leftists.
Unless and until that changes FNC will continue its death-spiral.
I know she wasn’t one of the big stars on Fox, but to me things started to go downhill when Andrea Tantaros disappeared one day. Seemed like something was off” that day and things continued to slide.
Fox Business Channel is pretty good with Dobbs and Varney though Kennedy is a bit grating.
I agree with everything posted here. However, nobody told Ailes and O’Reilly to act like a couple of A-holes. And what do you think when you tell a 40 ish blonde that she’s being replaced by 20’ish blonde is going to happen?
The morning gibberish on the major networks is unwatchable. I turn on CPSAN's Washington Journal instead. They get some good guests. And they have viewers call in, striving to get views across the political spectrum. Those callers are usually more insightful than the self-serving biased narcissists on the regular channels.
I had been a faithful recorder of
Fox News from 5 to 11 p.m. every day plus FoxandFriends every day and I watched or listened to most of that, realizing that, other than Rush and a couple of other programs, I had no where else to go. Online, I had Drudge and FR. Once the stench of lawsuits and big money for the female claimants hit Fox, the handwriting was on the wall. Lawyers love to sue for humanly commonplace accidents or behaviors, claiming them to be unusual in human experience, as they pick and choose their victims among the hoards who could be falsely accused. The money and reputations extorted from successful businesses leaves a passion for more of the same from the enemies of fair play just as dead ants leave a stench which attracts armies of other ants. Anyway, when the Murdocks settled the lawsuit of Gretchen Carlson (I forever wondered how she got her job. I never found that she was good at it and she was not attractive compared to the other women on Fox) out of court, I knew the fix was in and my dismay also set in as I prepared myself for what was to come, though the eventual coup by the left was unimaginable. I did not abandon Fox because of any inferior programming for it continued to be the best on cable. I stopped because I had finally reached the place where I could not process the evil taking place against good people anymore. My grief for the demise of fair and accurate reporting of the news and a debate which always covered the other view, was unbearable. The wolf was at the door and, in my eyes, there were two of them, the Murdock Brothers, whom we had long been warned about, seeing as how much their Father loved them and the extent to which they were controlled by their feminist wives, or, so we were told, we kind of knew what to expect, though it is worse than what we imagined. What will happen now is anyone’s guess. The media and it’s owners are now into an un- civil war, playing to the sensibilities of the most uninformed citizens who do not know enough to instantly recognize the lies they are told every day to manipulate and foment more hatred in the masses. It would seem that the spin on everything now is focused on destroying the President and the Presidency as our Constitution demands. If they succeed, will the warring media tribes now formed against traditional America turn against one another when no single voice is left to oppose the insanity? Could it be that the leftists controlling the media are guilty themselves of the accusations they hurl against our President and His supporters? Is the media fomenting a not-so-secret coup and will anything intervene to stop it? I fear the answer might be found in a good book I read out of my desperation...TRUMP’S WAR, HIS BATTLE FOR AMERICA by the controversial Michael Savage. Beginning on page 207, Michael Savage lists seven pages of the names of subversive organizations that have received funding from George Soros alone. Michael points out that this is staggering and is what we are up against. When those charged with the responsibility of getting accurate and fair communication to the American people and the world begin to practice subversion, will enough people stand up to correct it, hopefully in a peaceful way? We will see.
