My youngest son had been enrolled and active in his high school JROTC program and was ready to enroll in the ROTC program at Oregon State University a few years back.
We had an emotional and tearful man to man conversation, as I persuaded him that now was not the time to pursue the Military under Obama.
It killed me emotionally to tell him that because both his Grandpa and I are Army vets and he wanted to keep up the family tradition.
This is not to take away from the brave men who have decided to join the military, this was a personal family decision.
That bastard Obama and his queer alliance have attempted to make a mockery of the U.S. Military and I will always despise him for that to the very end.
I wonder if the Marine Corps will next do a commercial of a female being captured and the results of that?

not to mention we haven't evolved enough as a species..u cant train out the “natural attraction” of the species...especially in Hi-stress situations...It's been ingrained in us far longer then any classroom teaching can fix...
(i served 2 tours in VN and watched Officers fight over the “affections” of “round-eyed” Nurses and Donut Dollies..one to the point where 2 good pilots could never fly together again...and I cant imagine myself in a foxhole with a female back in those days...even at my age now )

After one particularly tough day they interviewed members of both platoons.The guys were clearly tired,sore and even a bit discouraged.But every one of them maintained their bearing and made it clear that they could hack it.
The females,OTOH,when interviewed were weeping like little girls.I kid you not.
I expect this from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
I thought the Marines knew better.
