FBI agents angered at FBI director's lenient handling of email probe!

The surprise firing of James Comey was triggered by the ousted FBI director's recent comments on why he chose not to seek the prosecution of Hillary Clinton for using an unsecure email server, according to White House and Trump administration officials.

President Trump was angered by Comey's assertion that Clinton had no criminal intent when she mishandled highly classified information on her private server, said officials familiar with the president's thinking.

..

"Federal law is clear regarding classified materials: intent is not relevant [to mishandling classified information]," the White House official said.

“Comey was trying to walk a tightrope to keep his job”

That’s what is really being buried in all this media hubbub...the whole thing is Queen Hillary’s fault. Comey’s twisted himself into a pretzel trying to keep from getting too far on her bad side. She is a tyrant and demands every privilege- including being able to violate any law just for her own convenience and avoidance of oversight. If Hillary would just live according to the same rules any office holder must live under, none of this would ever have occurred. And if intent wasn’t the issue...just exactly then WAS her intent? She’s never said, she doesn’t have to...she’s the Queen.

As it well it should have.

And he tried to apply the same BS to Huma Abedin and Weiner.

Throw all of their ass in prison, including the bought and paid for Comey!

Right. You said the correct term “criminal intent”. The specific purpose is irrelevant which is why the law does not deal with intent. It doesn’t matter what she intended to do with the emails.

So tired of the muck stuck on top of the truth. Clinton needs to be prosecuted. This is what it is all about. Obama is right there with it. This scandal compared to Watergate is 1000 to 1 Hiroshima’s. We let this go, the Republic will die. This is why the left of all stripes is fighting to the death.

“Somebody at the WH gets it. Comey doesn’t get it....Intent is not needed.”

Comey doesn’t want to ‘get it’.......he knows the law, most likely he was ordered by Obama’s to ‘fall on a grenade’ in order to complete the obstruction of justice Lynch had agreed to (unfortunately for the corrupt Attorney General her compliciency with BC was exposed)

Comey needs to be investigated for felonies related to unmasking....

How can you not ‘get it’? Zippy the Pinhead can ‘get it’. It goes beyond ‘getting it’. The only reasonable conclusion that one can make is obsequious corruption.

“Seems you didn’t read the article. Intent is not a factor in the federal law, and is not mentioned in that law at all.”

Then that is all the more reason that Comey was wrong.

I had looked for general aspect of “intent” in response to the claim on another site. I had just wanted to be certain that a lack of explicit intent, didn’t get somebody off the hook.

The two situations I considered were handling of classified documents, for which I have personal knowledge and experience, and impaired driving.

But you are apparently better versed. Comey was wrong.

It can be strongly argued that Comey made up the law and his interpretation, to suit his special treatment of his royal target.

Which numbered “reason for firing Comey” is this? Lost count.

Those records of which were found “The Day After” the statute of limitations had expired, And In the private residence no less. Her blatant arrogance and the total non-reaction from the press at the time, was quite telling.

I think Comey got it. He was just trying to avoid being Vince Foster-ized.

>>Comey doesn’t get it.

Oh I think he got it. George Webb has done a pretty decent job of describing Comey’s history of swamp slithering.

Time after time he’s failed to follow through and enforce the law.

Now he’s DONE covering for his fellow snakes from that position of authority.

Another thing that irked me during that hearing is that Comey said that the FBI hasn’t been able to talk to Weiner regarding the classified mail because of other pending charges pertaining to the sexting was preventing it but then he says minutes later that he ended the classified mail investigation into Weiner because of no evidence. Well, the FBI hasn’t questioned Weiner yet like he just said so how does he clear Weiner prior to an inverview?

If Republicans were smart on these intelligence committee interviews, they would march in 100’s of people who were fired, lost their clearance all from no intent, but simply a mishandling. But like I said if they were smart.

Hillary if no intent should have been charged with at least mishandling classified information.

Intent has nothing to do with dissemination of classified information. Either it happened or it didn’t, as ToughLuck_Freeper posted a few days ago:
