Ok they had a long list of issues with Comey on how he handling things and yea he could have done better, but why not have a sit down chat with Comey and ask for his resignation. This happened with urgency. They handed him a cardboard box of his desk family photos and said leave now.
Why the urgency? This was a big deal and to be done. Like when you catch an employee stealing.
