As if they would ever do a course that was "complimentary" to President Trump or any Republican/conservative.

Any arguments by the university in defense of this (so called "class") should review their prior history of classes that discussed the unconstitutional and unethical actions by former President Obama, as well as efforts to organize "resistance" and "protests" to his policies. If there is NO evidence of this, then it is obvious that the university has become a political arm of the militant left. As such, there should be consequences.

In the meantime, all federal funding should be pulled from the university.

All state funding for the university should be put on hold until disciplinary action is taken against the professor, and full-on investigations be conducted on the students enrolled in such a class.

Finally, this university should be reviewed to see if their accreditation should be pulled.

Seriously. Aggressive action MUST be taken.

I agree; it’s far past time to get extremely serious about this sick and twisted leftist bias running through most colleges today. We need a comprehensive plan to dig deep and pull out these leftist freaks who teach this nonsense by the roots then make sure they never teach again.

As the left was so fond of saying and still does when it works to their benefit; “it’s for the children”. In this case it really is. Letting them get brainwashed and indoctrinated in the communist doctrine does no student any good.

ie: supporting courses about controversial topics

HUH? When I went to college, there were courses about controversial topics. They defined the controversy, presented all sides of it, and encouraged students to evaluate that controversy without bias and with research, objectivity, independent thought, and discussion. The description of this course is anything but that. This trash they're presenting would best be described as a training ground for zombie mind controlled anarchists.

Cancel this propaganda "course", and forcibly enroll them all in a mandatory Calculus class.

Then, watch them all squirm and lament as they are forced to endure real academic rigor.

Their heads would explode.

You cannot lump ‘nationalism’ and ‘nativism’ in the same breath.

A ‘nationalist’ loves, and puts his country first.

A ‘nativist’ goes farther, and believes that the born citizens are paramount, and privy to all the benefits of the country, period.

I gladly state that I am a nativist.

It’s totally up to you parents. Do you want to destroy your own kids by sending them to these so called “institutes of higher learning?” Colleges used to be that, but not any more. They have become indoctrination centers for stupidity and lack of common sense!

Get the money OUT of education. It is simply a money laundering operation for the Democrat party.

Even if calculus is totally beyond most of these snowflakes, how about teaching a bit of basic logic? The article’s assertion that capacity enrollment in the class shows that students are not concerned about perceived left-wing bias in academia does not refute the fact of this bias.

Butler Provost and VP for Academic Affairs Kathryn Morris wrote: "Butler offers a variety of courses that tackle controversial topics.....and promotes an environment of critical inquiry and engagement on controversial and unpopular topics."

So when is Butler giving courses on a Kenyan president who conducted massive spying to protect his party, who looted the US Treasury, who got elected under false pretenses, sealed all his records, depended on people's stupidity and massive bribes to get a healthcare bill..... a purveyor of chronic self-absorption, hate-whitey, lying as a political strategy, butchering babies for profit, black supremacy, hate-America nationalism, Black nativism and imperialism.
