Michael Savage is one of the greatest American radio commentators, and he is one of the top people in the country who got Trump elected.
And yet, Savage is also one of the few with the courage to criticize Trump when ( in Savage's eyes ) Trump is backing off of his promises or taking us down a questionable or wrong road.
As you probably know, for 8 years Savage has been banned by the UK government from traveling to the UK. Savage is grouped with other people being banned such murderers, rapists, and Islamic terrorists -- and high insult to the millions of Deplorable Americans who hear his radio show and buy his best-selling books.
Savage is on a campaign to see if Trump will ask the UK government to take him off their banned list.
Here are the words of the petition on WND.com:
Whereas, Michael Savage has never advocated violence, and the British government has not specified any statements made by Savage to back its claim;
Whereas, former Republican Congressman Allen West wondered how a “nation who believes in freedom of speech and press” could ban Savage when there “has not been one incident recorded in the United States regarding Dr. Savage instigating violence, let alone serious criminal acts”;
Whereas, Michael Savage has been known to his millions of listeners for more than 22 years as an advocate of the patriotic values of borders, language and culture;
Whereas, the British government has protected many Muslim hate-preachers who espouse the overthrow of the British government, while banning Savage;
Whereas, official correspondence released under the U.K.’s freedom-of-information law revealed a decision was made at the highest level of the British government to use Savage’s name to provide “balance” to a ban list otherwise dominated by Muslim extremists;
Whereas, Britain is the country of the Magna Carta, which gave birth centuries later to Americans’ constitutional right to free speech;
Whereas, emails released by WikiLeaks show that then-U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refused to act on Savage’s behalf;
Whereas, Clinton counsel Cheryl Mills said it would be hypocritical to press for Savage’s removal from the British list on free-speech grounds, since the Obama administration thought it also would have had legal justification to ban Savage;
Whereas, President Trump – whose winning campaign closely reflected Michael Savage’s philosophy of borders, language and culture, and who had the crucial support of Savage and “The Savage Nation” – himself is the target of a U.K. citizen petition to ban him from entering the British Isles;
Whereas, President Trump has vowed to combat the censorship of free speech that is motivated by political correctness:

Therefore, we hereby add our names to this petition calling on President Donald J. Trump and his State Department to demand of the British government that it remove Michael Savage from its travel ban.
It is outrageous that a Western nation would ban a popular American commentator with millions of listeners and several New York Times bestselling books to “balance” its list, apparently fearing it would be accused of being biased against Muslims.
Michael Savage has never advocated violence, and his political views are protected by the First Amendment, which is rooted in the civil-rights tradition that began with Britain’s Magna Carta.
Reading Free Republic, I find a lot of the other commentators repetitive of what I read on FR.
Savage is original and doesn't hold back. The only I don't trust him being honest about is his commmercials about GoldLine -- or whatever health pills he's plugging.
I also love the fact that Savage often diverges from politics to talk about the culture.
Please sign the petition to make a statement about FREE SPEECH and correct the injustice of Savage being on the same banned lists as terrorists, murders, and rapists.

He pissed of the ADD mothers here in Mississippi and they banned him from the radio.
Why should I interfere in Britain’s affairs?
They have the right to make their own decisions.
The U.K. doesn’t want to be reminded that terrorism is mainly a Muslim form of political activism.
We don't have to support them.
They have massive military and intel facilities courtesy of the U.S.
They wouldn't EXIST if it were not for the U.S. - it would be a Third Reich vassal state now.
We should never cooperate with States that oppress our people.
Weiner/Savage has done nothing wrong except have an opinion that British Socialists don't like. Fine. So they can forget about coming here under those circumstances. Maybe get the French to protect them.

I think its ironic that Theresa May was the British Home Secretary who signed off on Michael Savage’s ban order.
It’s actually a good idea. Don’t interfere. Just get even.
Therefore Trump should reciprocate in kind. He should bar the most popular Fake News reporter from the BBC from entering the US.
That will get their attention!
