Wil came up with this quick method which uses momentum to roll the body onto his shoulders.

Yet the video and the article's own transcript says:

"This is a technique I learned from when I was in the ranger battalion, I didn’t magically come up with this, ok, and if you don’t practice it, it’s not a viable thing for you."

BTW, I only know Will Willis as the host of Forged in Fire, I didn't know he was also an instructor, former Ranger, and former Pararescue Jumper.

I helped a lady up the other day along with a female nurse. The lady weighed about 250 lbs. with a body shape liked a tootsie roll pop - all on the top. It was very hard to get her up since she could contribute almost nothing to the effort. After a rest she took off again with a cane, though she needed a walker.
