Real adults know the world is an imperfect place. Soldier on and pay your fines.

OMG. Even my 6 year-old granddaughter knows that you have to return library books on time. Her parents recently determined that they have checked out some 4,000 books since she was born.

Assignments? Just say they did them.

Gosh, this gets stupider and more distressing by the day.

Most mallards can correctly use “your.” I don’t know what’s wrong with that one.

They’ll expect that same leniency when dealing with their mortgage lender at age 35. They’ll lose their house and have to move back home with mom and dad…who did learn to return books to the library when they were 7.

The Harvard Crimson—as in turning beet red with embarASSment—is an apt name for this paper.

Sometimes you have to be a little abrasive to put a polish on things and even out the irregularities.

Snowflakes need to have their noses pushed into the grindstone from time to time.

_____________

I think it’s a requirement for internet memes to contain at least one misspelling.

My local branch of the county library, automatically renews my checked-out books via an email to me for an 30 additional days (up to 3 months total), if no one else is on the list requesting the book.

Makes it easy if I am still reading a book and don't want to go into town to the library to do the same thing myself. Great service.

As if they can’t send the library a selfie with the book asking for it to be renewed to give them two more weeks to turn it in. Oh, the hugh manatee! In ten years, even more will be on the government dole because they’re too scared to leave their homes to go to work. Count on it. It’s coming.

Overdue library books and parking violations. You notice they never had either when the King had official torturers? It’s no coincidence.

Our checkout period is a year and you can renew it for another year...except for new releases of course because the library leases those. 21 day checkout period

Having access to a large university library is the greatest perk in the world. 7600 DVD’s. The last one on the list (I just checked) was “Where Eagles Dare”.
