So, did Hillary just squander her final shot at offering the mainstream media a genuine apology? A quick glance at today’s news seems to suggest that may be the case. We’ve already heard from David Axelrod. Now that we have this clip from Andrea Mitchell, I’m starting to think they’ve shifted gears from “tired of Hillary’s garbage” to “completely fed up with her whole shtick.”

I don’t recall any past losing candidates, who were still out there, six months later, issuing excuse after excuse as to why they lost.
Does Hillary have the dream of still being president? Recent history is strongly against her. Have any recent nominees for president, lost the general election, and then came back to run again??
I can only think of Nixon in 1968 who did that in recent times.
Otherwise, look at others, such as:
Humphrey in 1968
McGovern in 1972
Ford in 1976
Carter in 1980
Mondale in 1984
Dukakis in 1988
Bush 41 in 1992
Dole in 1996
Gore in 2000
Kerry in 2004
McCain in 2008
Romney in 2012
None of these losers, were ever nominated again by their parties to run for president again.
I know Hillary thinks she is special. But this history is strong, in both parties, that the losers get cast aside, and new faces emerge.

He may not have gone 6 months but he carried the battle a long time.
Actually, among those losers, the only one I can recall who, like Hillary, continued to think his opinion counted was Kerry. Most others found other areas of interest and didn’t have to opine on every single then-current event.
