Amazon employees are up in arms and stepping up the pressure on the higher brass to remove Amazon advertisements from the Breitbart News site. The overwhelming consensus from frustrated employees is the alt-right news site promotes discrimination, and it makes them feel unsafe.
According to internal emails in February retrieved by BuzzFeed News, dozens of Amazon employees are voicing deep concerns through internal emails that Amazon advertise on Breitbart, despite being an outspoken critic of President Trumps immigration policies. They are urging the company to cut ties with the news site.

I wasn’t questioning your logic. I was questioning amazon’s.
You are entirely correct. I tell people all the time that big business is with the left these days and they just look at me like I am crazy. You left out a big part of what you can observe in most large corporate environments - complete dedication to the Climate Change agenda.
These large corporations finally figured out that a big intrusive, over-regulating government helps keep the smaller guys out and places them at a competitive advantage.
Most large corporations are no friends of conservatives.
I do honestly think their position on Breitbart is going to matter.
Their business model is so far superior to just about everything out there that I can’t really see people cutting them off en masse simply for being a bunch of liberal jerks.
It isn’t even their prices that make them so good IMO. It’s being able to buy things that stores don’t even bother to stock, and the ability to shop without leaving the house.
Go ahead, I’ll buy my knockoffs elsewhere.
WE need to fight back against all the STRAWMAN idiocy the leftists proclaim....Racism, Hate, Sexism, etc. Throw it back at them...make them cite specific instances. Conservatives need to FIGHT back at this crap.
Pretty sure I haven’t bought any knockoffs, but hey, whatever you gotta say to justify is fine by me.
Sht! They are going to make
my boycot easier!
Like we need Amazon. I do peer to
peer
So these delicate flowers would like their employer to reduce its potential income because it disturbs them.
I work in journalism and am surrounded by leftists. I keep my mouth shut and “grin and bear it” whenever anything political involving the US comes up.
I think a few dozen amazonians are irrelevant to the overall amazonian business model. and who I buy my weed whacker filament from is probably completely disassociated with online ads — I don’t see them, anyway. run adblocker.
I buy off eBay. Money going straight to a small business owner and I actually get better deals than Amazon.
How many companies are out there just itching to steal market share from Amazon? They would do well to avoid pissing off their customers. Once you have jumped through one PC hoop, you know the next one is right around the corner.
Time to cease buying from Amazon. They are a Left Wing POWERHOUSE! Everyone responds to this plea citing their precious PRIME savings, or shopping convenience. It is not all that difficult to find similar or identical products from other web marketers. Take a couple of minutes extra, pay a buck or two more, send a message!
“I cant really see people cutting them off en masse simply for being a bunch of liberal jerks.”
Really? What WOULD be a good reason to take your business elsewhere?
Better price, better product selection, more convenient shopping.
I generally do not make shopping decisions based on political concerns, but it does happen. I don’t shop at Target anymore when I used to shop there often.
I am also going to discontinue use of Dove soap and deodorant.
So sometimes a company or outlet can get the big X from me for being liberal jerks.
However, Amazon has to much to offer for me to worry about it.
On top of that, I don’t really care if they are beefing with Breitbart, because I do not particularly care for Breitbart much anymore.
For me, it was when Bezos bought the Washington Post. That was a clear statement that he sought to do as much damage as possible. I’ll pay a buck or two more plus shipping, elsewhere. Or, heaven forbid, I’ll get in the car and go buy the damn thing, just like my Great Grandpappy did. Or was that a Horse?
WaPoo sucks! they keep sending me e-mails as if I want to read the crap. I haven’t bothered to block it yet though.
Still, if someone provides something that I value, then I will give them a pass for being morons.
Musicians for instance. Most of the music I enjoy is for scumbag leftholes. Really stupid people, love their music, so they get a pass.
The same does not seem to apply to actors though.
I can’t live without music, but I can live without movies, especially bad movies and comic book movies.
So they get no pass.
Actor opens stupid mouth, actor gets blackballed by me.
that’s just SAD!!! I’d be fired in an hour at your job. My mouth doesn’t shut when t comes to that. I’d be arguing with everyone! lol
