I know President Trump’s work with China led to the good behavior of North Korea. Plus, the fact that Trump showed North Korea the United States would not take their threats sitting down was a huge factor in their backing off of even a missile test. I believed late last night that we would not strike NK for only a missile test, but if they harmed a hair on our back, or South Korea, or Japan, a war would be our only choice. I praise God this did not happen.
I wonder if we are about to see a decrease in North Korea’s threats, as China reigns them in. I think President Trump’s work with China’s President made a huge impact in the way China has started to view and treat North Korea. They are getting far closer to good relations with the US and pulling away from their pampering of Lil’ Kim. I think they may have closed the nuclear playground for Lil’ Kim.
I don’t think Kim takes anyone seriously but China. He is very attached at the hip with China, and if he loses their support…well, he will be up the creek without a paddle. I really don’t think he could swim to shore….he is too indulgent with the food he loves. I was doing some research on North Korea, and they are very intelligent and a self-sufficient people. Most everything is made in North Korea, and what is not is made in China. They are totally dependent on China, and for this we are thankful. I think the positive visit the President of China paid to Mar-A-Lago was what saved the American people from the horror of war. Oh, I think President Trump’s “art of the deal” was a winner with China!

No mention that the cannisters were anything but empty tubes, but who knows. I assume sat images will track these as they travel to their storage facilities.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Obama did all he could to not enforce sanctions on NK (and Iran) and did what he could to help them march toward being nuclear powers.
I believe I read somewhere there is a way to developed electronic signatures or tags which can be assigned to these vehicles which can tracked/located where ever they go. Then again, I could be wrong.
One way for China and the US to end up in the same camp is for the US to supply China with their needed energy, thereby bypassing NK’s coal supply.
The US and China make a great team that can increase the chance for world peace by undermining the threat posed by NK.
The Chinese also know that they need to transition from an export-driven economy to a consumer-driven one. If they’ve already undertaken that transition they might decide the Korea issue differently.
They announced that they were “primed and ready”. Spying activity doesn’t give you a “Saturday”, announcements give you “Saturday”. This was all an exercise in control, they established that they can make half the world twitch with a press release.
This is post-post communist China. They love the economic benefit of capitalism, but the rise to the top politically is perilous as it’s still a heavily skewed totalian state. So those that make it are pretty adept.
They will be competitive with whatever type of negotiations President Trump throws at them.
Watching President Trump, I wonder if that bru ha ha over moving closer to Taiwan and even as far back as suggesting Japan arm itself with nukes was laying the groundwork for their eventuall meeting.
Everyone kind of assumed that due to the timing, they would do something on their big "Day of the Sun"... and the rhetoric (mostly driven by the MSM) has been getting louder and louder.
There are really just two ways to deal with them. Either ignore them and hope they go away or stomp on them.
They are a consumer driven economy now. There is an entire generation of young Chinese who have things and are able to do things that had their parents and grandparents even thought of would have been a death sentence.
So much disinfo out there. A future testing of a larger nuclear device discovered from sat images morphed into a missile launch and nuke test this Saturday.
