What a difference 24 hours and 59 Tomahawk missiles can make.
Yesterday if you mentioned the words "Russia and Trump," you were probably having a conversation about the enduring allegations that the Russians somehow colluded with the Trump campaign and that they somehow tipped the 2016 election.
But now those words are likely a part of a conversation about how President Donald Trump broke with Russia in his decision to respond to the alleged Syrian nerve gas assault on its own people with Thursday night's missile strike.
That's a dramatic flipping of the script in Washington, Moscow, and beyond. It's not exactly an example of a totally negative story turning into a totally positive one for President Trump, but it's close. Because from now on, the narrative that the president is some kind of puppet of Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to be much harder to promote. An independent President Trump is harder to completely tear down than a man supposedly being remote-controlled by the Kremlin... no matter what he does....

A person who bought into the Trump/Russian conspiracy theory will buy into anything. It doesn’t take a lot of imagination to concoct a reason that the Russians were behind this too. It just takes sufficient delusion.
The Russian card is the joker...
Let’s just hope he doesn’t take the regime change card from them, too.
But the old card deck is already being dusted off race, the poor, the homeless, big bad business, the ozone hole, the Christian Right,
If you read the comments there, many of those loons are now saying that Putin was behind the raid to take the heat off the investigation. Anybody selling tinfoil hats would make a killing with these people.
This is the one takeaway from me for this whole episode.
DJT never was a Russian pawn, but for the morons in the media (redunant term) who perpetuated that lie, this is a premiere showcase of the fallacy.
Of course, I fully expected the media kooks to at least proffer an even stupider idea: Trump and Russia DECIDED to do this so that the “heat” showing their collusion will be cooled. See? Trump PRETENDS to anger Russia and Russia PRETENDS to be angry just to shut up the critics.
Liberals are deluded.
Wow, just read your post #6 before putting mine up at #7. You showed me I am correct. :)

Now we can look into Ibama spying? Yes the Russia card is done. Provide evidence or shut up. I have a Russian friend and his wife likes watching Russian TV on cable. I guess I would too if I was I her situation. BUT they are not Trump fans on that channel. They refer to him as an ing orang baboon.
He completely destroyed the “Russian puppet” theory. Now if and when he actually does start dealing with Putin on mutual interests, nobody can credibly say it was the result of any prior collusion. In fact, it might be good if Putin took hs shoe off and whacked a lectern a few times just so there is no doubt about how pissed off he is. Then he and Trump can get on with business when the time is right.
Russia and China
To get rid of their two “bad boy” client states?
Syria and North Korea?
If the dems try to play those cards they will be dealing LOSING hands to them selves! People in this country are tired of this Crap!
There’s an old saying, “keep your friends close, but you enemies closer”. Trump understood that Russia was the immediate threat to stability in the middle east and eastern Europe. But by appearing to be making nice with Putin he could then say that he had extended a hand to Russia before he was “forced” the kick their ass. Do not underestimate the strategic vision of Trump.
The Rats didn’t have a Russian card in the first place.
There is just so much delusion the media can propagate. Then it becomes noise.
5.56mm
59 Tomahawk missiles
come to find out it was actually 60 Missiles.
One of them went into the water.
Hope they self destructed it.
Not for long, as we’ve seen with PMS NBC’s latest conspiracy theory.
