The White House is asking Congress to dig deeper into whether communications of Trump associates were improperly picked up and disseminated during surveillance operations, after an ex-Obama administration official suggested her former colleagues tried to gather such material.
White House Counsel Don McGahn specifically cited Evelyn Farkas’ comments in a letter to the leaders of the House Intelligence Committee, as he invited lawmakers to view documents that apparently show surveillance of Trump associates during the transition.

It’s just a coincidence that she happens to be a huge advocate of hard lines against Russia, antitank missiles to Ukraine, trying to get Russia to leave Ukraine, getting us to remove Assad.
She’s letting us know Russia and Trump are colluding. Just a coincidence.
The real blunder was that she hadn’t been part of the Obama administration for over a year - she was working for the Hillary political campaign -and getting access to secret government surveillance - if only we had a competent and trustworthy FBI to look into it.....

Like usual, nothing will come of it. A liberal Democrat could shoot someone on live TV AND GET AWAY WITH IT. Is Trump still president or is it that Hawaiian judge. Hard to tell these days.
Right after Grosuch is confirmed, the circuit judge ruling will be overturned.
They want Trump to defy the court so they can try to turn it into a Constitutional crisis.
Sessions may go after this as well.

Mika's only reaction to hearing a "former" govt official was an accessory to conspiracy and collusion?

Again, Farkas nods in agreement.
Farkas NEVER once admitted that at the time of these outrageous activities, she was working for Hillary's campaign.
Significantly, Farkas left the Obama admin in October 2015 and yet she has no problem telling TV viewers she knew what took place in Nov, Dec of 2016.
How does that happen?
Does our government---in secret--- frequently share confidential Eyes Only data with former employees?
You get this impression of Democrat party animals having "Surveillance Summit Galas"..... enjoying catered refreshments and an open bar.....as top secret, classified info is being passed around
The discerning Dems pick and choose Top Secret tidbits to bolster their campaigns.....and to destroy the opposition.
Remember, Farkas left Obama to work for Hillary.
These officials told the New York Times the Obama administration-----after the November eletion----had "scrambled" to spread information within government about Russian election meddling and possible ties between Trump aides and Russians.
These startling comments almost duplicated those of Evelyn Farkas.
The stupid leftie realized that she’d stepped on it big time and was back on TV backpeddling at a furious pace. She even invoked fake news and the Russians. hahaha. Evelyn is sweating bullets waiting on a summons or subpoena.
The Obamas and the Clintons have a way of operating in that they won't give you something, but they will tell you where it is so you can steal it.
Here is part of what Evelyn Farkas said:

So the questions are, who is we? and what sources and methods were used to get intelligence after she had left the administration?
The most likely answer is that she got the intelligence from Hillary Clinton. Hillary is the "we". How? Because for some reason, her access to classified information was not revoked when she left her position as Secretary of State. It seems that Obama left the back door open for her to gain unmasked dirt on Trump in order to win the election. When Clinton lost, they feared Hillary losing her clearance, and so they began to capture classified information and give it to other democrats still in government who may be able to use it against Trump.

So the questions are, (A) who is the we she's referring to, and, (B) what sources and methods were used to get intelligence AFTER she had left the Obama administration?

Good questions, to be sure..... and while Hillary was no doubt involved.....let us not dismiss the evil hand of Obama in all this.
A picture is emerging of a "cool president" for public consumption who possesses a deep-seated paranoia in private.
Nixon acted irrationally as he faced reelection....and Obama's insecurities surfaced as he watched his third term (in the person of Hillary) crater into a sinkhole.
Spying on political opponents is a reliable sign of Obama's paranoia.
Surveillance and intel is readily available to a president....and Obama seems to have used these freely.
