Wednesday, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), held a press conference where he claimed he possessed proof that “U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition” were “incidentally” surveilled by the Obama administration. Nunes clarified that the evidence he’d reviewed was not related to, “Russia, the investigation of Russian activities, or the Trump team.”
Rep. Nunes’ announcement came as a shock to ranking committee Democrats, who learned the news via the press conference. The White House was also unaware of Nunes’ findings until the press conference.
An Intelligence Community (IC) insider approached Rep. Nunes with the bombshell evidence after FBI Director Comey’s testimony before Congress Monday. Or at least that’s what Nunes claims.
As Nunes explained, members of Trump’s transition team were surveilled “incidentally”, but what concerned him most was that transition team members had been “unmasked”. Rather than being referred to as “American A” (or something of the like) in surveillance reports, their identities were listed. Unmasking requires specific request and approval.
This “incidental” intelligence contained personal information about members of Trump’s transition team was then disseminated to other IC members, “but this had no intelligence significance at all…and that would include people in the White House getting it,” said Rep. Peter King (R-NY), House Intel Committee member.
Joining Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Wednesday night Rep. King reiterated Rep. Nunes’ previous statements. It’s worth noting that at the time of his interview with O’Reilly, King had not personally seen the information in Nunes’ possession, but had been briefed “in detail” by Nunes.

King claimed the reports they’ve sifted through are just the beginning and that there’s much more. Seemingly contradicting one of Nunes’ claims, King indicated (again, second-hand knowledge here) that the intelligence reports read like surveillance reports, detailing where the subjects went and with whom they spoke.
According to King, this is not an isolated incident. There are “many” reports with same type of intel collection.
When questioned, Trump said he felt “somewhat” vindicated and was glad Nunes found what he did.
Hours later, CNN published a story with the following headline:
Even though, “officials cautioned that the information was not conclusive and that the investigation is ongoing.”
It’s almost like the FBI swatted back. Almost.

“I guess it’s the Comey Contingent, but there’s no way to know. Yet.”
Comey is not cooperating with the Intelligence Committee from what I have heard. IMHO that is where the problem is.
FBI/CNN seem to be working together. Comey is knee-deep in this.

Compare Nune’s Press briefing to his press briefing today. Yesterday, he was very ‘Concerned”, dozens of people were unmasked, Friday we ‘Will” have more information. Today, it was “Legal’, “On the margin” “Some people MAY have been unmasked, tomorrow we ‘May’ get more info. They got to him, Tomorrow will be just another day.
What is going on today in the Untied States is unique in history. There is an attempted coup d'etat but not by the military but the intelligence community of our nation. Few realize it but the elected executive is in a death struggle with factions of the intelligence. Some factions of the intelligence are hell bent on taking Trump down in their quest for socialism if not Marxism. Other patriot factions of the intelligence are leaking information though it puts them in great danger of criminal prosecution.
The battle is not against Trump but a battle against the United States as what it has been, which is a Constitutional Republic.
Our great nation will fail or perhaps live. If the deep state wins we will fail. If Trump wins as the defender of The Constitution, we might continue to be the great nation we were. We are not the great nation we were in the past.
The odds are about 99% that Schiff is involved in the Awan scandal, which includes espionage and possible drug dealing. This is why he is squawking so loudly to distract people. Keep the Awan story on the internet.
I remember that story...The man left with his family as the communists took over or maybe it was the 1905 rebellion, don’t remember. But the family lived out there for decades until discovered by “scientists” out researching areas of Siberia or something like that. Pretty wild story.
However the bee stings only once. For some strange reason of evolution the stinger of the bee is attached to its viscera. When a bee stings its viscera is left and the bee dies. On the other hand a wasp is like a raptor. It stings and kills and does not die.
I would rather be a raptor.
At the end, it will come out that the DNC/HILLARY/OBAMA crowd were ‘spying’ on all the candidates of both parties, and later were focused on just the Trump crew.
IT IS WHO THEY ARE. IT IS WHAT THEY DO.
