Are you really trying to stop any religious discrimination against any Canadian or Immigrant regardless of religious affiliation or are you trying to squelch any voices that may have legitimate concerns about the Islamists, Jihadist or Radical Islam?
Since my last open letter, I note you have moved ahead with your plans to outlaw freedom of speech under the guise of Islamophobia (a term not succinctly defined as part of the motion) aided and abetted by the still fawning entourage of Trudeau the younger (Trudeau the elder aptly called them “Trained Seals”) and sadly enough the NDP; poor Tommy Douglas must be turning over in his grave.
Another BS article. Islamophobia is not the act of hating or being prejudice against Islamists.
Anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility. Prejudice is either a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience, or to make biased.
The people of the US are just plain afraid. Afraid they will be another innocent bystander of an Islamic attack. And they have good reason:
February 26, 1993 World Trade Center bombing, (New York, NY): Islamic terrorists detonate a massive truck bomb under the World Trade Center, killing six people and injuring over 1,000 in an effort to collapse the towers.
1994 Brooklyn Bridge shooting a van filled with schoolboys targeted by Muslim extremist.
March 23, 1997 1997 Empire State Building shooting (New York, NY): A Palestinian leaves an anti-Jewish suicide note behind and travels to the top of the Empire State building where he shoots seven people.
September 11 attacks, 2001 (New York, NY): Hijackers steer two planes packed with fuel and passengers into the World Trade Center, killing hundreds on impact and eventually killing thousands when the towers collapsed. At least 200 are seriously injured.
(Washington, DC): Nearly 200 people are killed when hijackers steer a plane full of people into the Pentagon.
(Shanksville, PA): Forty passengers are killed after hijackers attempt to steer a plane into the U.S. Capitol building.
July 28, 2006 2006 Seattle Jewish Federation shooting, (Seattle, WA): An “angry” Muslim-American uses a young girl as hostage to enter a local Jewish center, where he shoots six women, one of whom dies.
May 2009 2009 Bronx terrorism plot Muslim extremists plan to bomb synagogue
June 1, 2009, 2009 Little Rock recruiting office shooting, (Little Rock, AR): A Muslim shoots a local soldier to death inside a recruiting center explicitly in the name of Allah.
November 5, 2009 2009 Fort Hood shooting, Ft. Hood, Texas: A Muslim psychiatrist guns down thirteen unarmed soldiers while yelling praises to Allah.
September 11, 2011 2011 Waltham triple murder, (Waltham, MA): Three Jewish men have their throats slashed by Muslim terrorists.
April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombing (Boston, MA): Foreign-born Muslims detonate two bombs packed with ball bearings at the Boston Marathon, killing three people and causing several more to lose limbs.
September 25, 2014 Vaughan Foods beheading incident, (Moore, OK): A Sharia advocate beheads a woman after calling for Islamic terror and posting an Islamist beheading photo.
July 16, 2015, 2015 Chattanooga shootings, Chattanooga, Tennessee: A Muslim commits a shooting spree at a recruiting center at a strip mall and a naval center, leaving five soldiers dead at the latter location.
4 November 2015 University of California, Merced stabbing attack by Muslim extremist
December 2, 2015, 2015 San Bernardino attack, San Bernardino, California: A couple opens fire at a Christmas party, leaving fourteen dead.
11 February 2016 Ohio machete attack by Muslim extremist
June 12, 2016, 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting, Orlando, Florida: Omar Mateen shoots and kills 49 people and injures 53 more at a gay bar, the largest mass shooting in U.S. history.
November 28, 2016, 2016 Ohio State University attack, Ohio, Ohio: A Somalian student, Abdul Artan who came to the USA as a refugee, intentionally rammed a car into pedestrians on a busy campus sidewalk on Monday morning and then began slashing passers-by with a butcher knife, the authorities said, injuring 11 students and faculty and staff members, and setting off panic at one of the nation’s largest public universities.
This is the list of only 23 years of attacks on our soil, not in their land. And not on the battlefield as it is defined by everyone but them. They kill for their god, and do it expecting to be rewarded by that god for doing it if they are killed so they have an incentive to do it. And you wonder why people are afraid? It’s niot hatred or anger, it’s fear.
