College safe spaces don’t cover macroaggression violence against conservatives

There has been a proliferation of safe spaces for identity politics groups, based on race or illegal alien status, that claim to be oppressed. Much of this oppression involves microaggressions. But there isn’t much interest in macroaggression, according to the College Fix.

Of the 12 students interviewed by the Manitou Messenger, several have been violently threatened because of their political beliefs, and almost all of them feel as though they can’t speak up about politics on campus – in class, online or with their friends. …

Whatever happened to “Love trumps hate”? The liberals are the very model of hatred and intolerance that they claim to oppose.

Leftist mindlessness paid for by massive student and government debt.

Trump could have scored (and can still score) huge political points taking on the “education-industrial complex.”

Not necessarily because of their ideology - but over COST. The system, as it works now, is that students take on massive debt, usually to government. they become debt serfs to government, while the money gets passed to Universities, who simply keep increasing tuition. There are plenty of statistics out there about the rise in costs being greater than even healthcare. The huge amount of administrators, the indebtedness of the average 24 year-old, etc...

He could make some very simple, yet very clear (and threatening) actions to reign-in the costs (and thus the political power of academia).

Trump has way too much on his plate right now to take on the Education Establishment. Other than de-funding the department of mis-education as much as possible.

You are right about the debt. It is a product of our debt based money and will eventually impoverish all of us unless it is dealt with.
