Earlier today, Senator Dianne Feinstein thought she’d play a little game of “gotcha” with Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. This is a terrible idea. Gorsuch’s performance has, so far, been absolutely stellar. Anyone who thinks they’re going to score a cheap political point during his confirmation hearing is in for a rude awakening.
Feinstein decided that a weak cheap-shot could make the idea that Gorsuch isn’t “for the little guy” stick. She was badly mistaken. Gorsuch began to rattle off cases that destroyed her premise, before summing things up thusly:
You’d think she’d have enough respect for her position in the Senate to do her homework before starting an interrogation. He bitch-slapped her and I’m glad.

Definitely patient, especially with that Sen. Whitehouse. The guy clearly has mental problems and was a blithering idiot. His ramblings made no sense. And Gorsuch didn’t even LOL at him, which I’d have done.

If she is so stupid, why is she the most successful war profiteer in history? She and her husband made more of the Iraq War than all the others combined.

Because her constituents are even stupider, and keep re-electing her. She falls into the class with the clintons, basically above the law. Perhaps her husband is smart, but if you think she is so smart please point to just one intelligent thing she has done, or even said, other than being a political crook.
