I've never done this, so please forgive me if I've gotten it wrong.
My brother, Michael, was hospitalized last week due to the recurrence of thyroid cancer. He was originally diagnosed and successfully treated about 9 years ago. Unfortunately the cancer has returned. It's inoperable due to being wrapped around his carotid artery.
Today he had a serious episode of arterial bleeding and went into cardiac arrest. Had this occurred at home it would have been fatal. He's under sedation and in no pain. But what happens next is in the hands of the Almighty.
My brother is a fine man, a good husband, and wonderful father to two incredible teenage kids.
Our entire clan is gathering now to be with him and his family tomorrow. Tonight I humbly ask for your prayers for all of them.
Thank you.

In my prayers
In principle, a carotid artery bypass should be no more impossible than a coronary bypass. Once that is done the tumor can be safely removed. Worth getting a second opinion about, I suppose...

Terribly sorry. Life is hard sometimes, I know.
Big prayers; I have no idea WHY God let Cancer come into existence, but He did and it’s a horrific plague on this world.
Prayer for your brother, Michael.
