Republicans complained and moaned about Obamacare when they didnt have control of the White House. They actually put together a bill repealing it, which passed the House and the Senate only to be vetoed by President Obama. So why are they pushing a watered-down version now rather than a full repeal?
Look at what that reveals about Republicans. When they knew that there was no chance of getting it through they passed a clean Obamacare repeal, Co-host Stu Burguiere said Wednesday on radio. Now, the second they have a chance . . . all they have to do is pass this and they have control of everything . . . and what happens?
What happened was Republicans releasing a replacement that embraces and entrenches many of the largest and most problematic portions of Obamacare, confirming that the majority of our elected officials dont care what their constituents want.
It just shows how worthless they are. This is why were not high on the Republican Party, Co-host Pat Gray said. This is exactly the reason were not.
Audio of the segment.
This plan is trash.
Because Summers Eve has a new product called Paul Ryan, that’s why.
Well I thought it was a bad plan. But if Glen Beck is also against it, maybe Im being too hasty....
Yes it is...though not because Beck or any of his stooges say so
“This plan is trash.”
Much like the GBP. How low can FR go? With Beck threads?
Why do we still have postings about what Glen Beck says or does? Who the hell gives a rat’s tail to what is in Beck’s head.
Because they're a bunch of sellout Establishment cowards who would rather kick the can down the road for a few years than deal with this problem courageously and thoroughly?
Just a guess...
In any event, Donald Trump does not think in such terms. He only thinks "big league", and whatever bill he ends up signing will be "great", comprehensive, and have his stamp on it so that he can take credit when it succeeds.
There's no way that this President is going to sign some half-assed non-solution that will not at least try to solve the problem. Such a law wouldn't help him politically, and wouldn't help the working class people who voted him into office. Therefore, that's not what will happen...
Rush said basically the same thing. They have the chance now to do something so I hope they don’t blow it.
Because even that merry band of a lunatic organ grinder and his lap monkeys can get it right like a blind squirrel eventually being able to find a nut. The difference is that even Ray Charles could see this Ryan Ruse is “Total Garbage”.
We the People are not being listened to by the man we elected to lead the movement. Hopefully, a private meeting with Rand Paul in Kentucky today will steer him back.
The biggest question to Trump is do you believe Ryan who has back stabbed you all the way to the inauguration or fall back to the counsel of Rand Paul who never gives up on being a stickler for smaller and less intrusive government?
The biggest glaring problem with Step 2 and Step 3 is it relies on Ryan to actually bring it up once he has Step 1 in his pocket for the insurance lobby. Trump would be wise to seek out history on promises made by Congressional leaders like Tom Foley and Denny Hastert.
Foley twice for getting the amnesty under Reagan promising immigration enforcement that never came, and promising spending cuts in exchange for the tax cuts.
Hastert for having passed the Border protection bill to build the wall only never approving the funding to actually get it built as promised.
Ryan will use the same arcane and ever changing rules of Congress to never get to Step 2 or 3 essentially by his own actions breaking a promise made to us by Trump, and then saddling Trump with it to continue his back stabbing.
As for the insurance lobby, F’em. They colluded with Obama to secure them a captive monopolized marketplace even dictating which companies became losers and winners. Let those companies who compete the best while offering a smorgasbord of insurance option that each of us tailor to our needs be decided by the free market forces.
The Republicans have to work within the rules of the budget reconciliation process for FY2017, which only require 51 votes in the Senate. This bill adjusts the federal budget for the current year. For FY2018 they can change more, which will be phase 2. Stop listening to Glenn Beck.
Ryan needs a primary defeat so he can work for K street—his real actual paymaster.
Glen Beck is garbage too.
Lol! I’ve been sick for two days and away from news.... but that is exactly what I was thinking when I saw this post.
Glen Beck is a clueless clown who shown himself an absolute poltical joke. If you want to be taken seriously, I would find a credible source rather then cite Glen, :headed for a Loony Bin”, Beck.
So you’r saying it’s not a piece of garbage?
You do know that he endorsed universal healthcare, don’t you? “The government will pay for it.”
My thoughts exactly!
