I just want to poll Freepers, and see where everyone is at?
Do you believe a coup d'etat or silent coup against President Trump is Imminent?
It’s called the whiny little kid who thinks that if he can’t win, then everyone should lose.
Depends on many factors. One important factor is if the Left succeeds in its strategy of divide and conquer.
The Left wants to get Priebus, Pence, Bannon, Conway, Spicer and others all fighting with each other. So the left starts rumors that they are fighting each other.
Then FReepers and others start picking sides. They are for Priebus and against Pence; Or for Bannon and against Pence; or whatever.
If the Left sucks Trump supporters into these fake fights, then the Left wins.
Compare politics to a football game and football season. Our team has wide receivers who naturally think a pass should be run most of the time. The running back thinks the run should be used much more. Some linemen prefer blocking for the run than for the pass.
And that is just on the offense squad. Then we have the defense squad. Some want to sack the QB every play. Others want to bend but not break.
Different people on the team have different ideas. Their ideas tend to match their position and skill set.
But they are all on the same team. Sometimes the TEAM runs a pass. Sometimes the TEAM stays on the ground. That the TEAM calls a different play each time does not mean that the wide receiver should be kicked off the team, or the tackle should be kicked off the team.
So the question should never be: Do you support person X?
The question should be: Do you support the TEAM?
No it is in process. It will fail miserably and we will have the traitors identified.

The constant intelligence leaks like against Sessions and “Golden Showers” are part of an ongoing fifth column in the federal bureaucracy.

I think a coup is in the process and has been since election night. They have succeeded in getting Flynn to resign and are trying to get Sessions to resign too.
I feel there is a good chance they will succeed, since they seem to be embedded deeply in all of the agencies and the public is so darn stupid and lazy.
We must stay alert and ready, if called upon.

It will depend on what Trump has as evidence. If he doesn’t have substantial or REAL evidence to back his tweet storm, he is done and even if he does, a coup is still possible because Obama has laced the US government with his cohorts who want America destroyed. It will be an uphill battle.
It seems there are LOTS of Obama, deep-state, GOPe operatives in DC working hard to make it happen. I believe they planned for an impeachment in 6 months but these new Trump allegations are going to push them ahead to this next month.

We need the coup d grace from Trump. I am a lttle chagrin he is not doing anything today!! I am not satisfied with asking for congressional review. There is MUCH more to do because of this illegal wiretapping. Congress will do nothing!!
I do not believe Sessions is going anywhere. He knows a great because he was a Senator who kept his ear to the ground and his mouth shut. Biding his time.
No one expected Trump to be President or Mr. Sessions to be AG, NO ONE. There is going to be a massive swamp draining in the next month or so, IMHO. Wish I was teaching PoliSci right now.
